After reading this, replace the words "she" and "her" with "you". Now read it over again.
That is what it is like to feel like society has placed a label on you before you've even given them a chance to meet you. That is what it is like to feel like you are never good enough. This has nothing to do with bullying, but everything to do with your self image.
Ask yourself this question. What does society want you to be? If I had to answer this, I would say pretty, skinny, smart, kind, not perfect, but close enough to it that it's hard to seek your imperfections. Ask yourself another question. Who decided what society wants you to be? Nobody. There is not a rule book that tells you how you should look and act. So how did these standards for girls, and people in general, become established? Media is one reason. But, once people started listening to media, the ones that don't care about image, suddenly became aware of societies expectations too. That's because everyone is used to seeing others be pretty and nice. Cause every time we look at somebody we think that they are so much better than us. But, step outside your body, and look at yourself. That is who you are. Your mind and conscious just tell you that you don't look good.
So, society shouldn't have a say on how you feel about yourself. Image can't be defined as what your supposed to look like. Society can't tell you who your supposed to be.
