It's been almost three years. Three years since she's seen his face. Three years since she's heard his voice. It's almost as if he's just a distant memory. But she knows, he's not. He was her whole life. Her first love. Nothing will change that.
Riley's Pov
It's the first day of college and my day has already been a huge failure, and class hasn't even started. I'm already looking forward to the end of the day. My first class is Spanish 1 and I can't even comprehend the words coming out of Mr. Hernandez's mouth. It seems like every class after that just drags on. *rileys phone chimes*
** Maya: Hey chica come to the coffee shop after your last class pretty please:)

Good, now I something to look forward to. Maya and I haven't been the same since everything that went on with her and Lucas. Every time I think about what they did to me, it's like my heart breaks all over again. There's so much history between the three of us, Maya has always been the half that makes me hole. Lucas has been the guy I could see myself with for an eternity since we met on the train. Maya and I have always been a package deal but I didn't know that included with my boyfriend too. She's obviously still my bestfriend, and basically my only friend. I've been more focused on my studies than making friends and getting out and exploring the world.
I'm finally done with all my classes when Maya calls and says to hurry. So right when I leave the building I start a slow sprint. I'm sure I look like a crazy women but Maya seemed anxious so It's okay. Then all of a sudden I ran right into a body. Ours eyes meet and I just about faint. "You." we both say in unison.
