Teddy Bear

I snuggled up to his chest, feeling the cold grass underneath me. I kept my arms wrapped around him with a small smile formed on my lips. Though I was sleepy, I looked up at the sky which had turned into a orange-english lavender color as the evening grew to a end and the night began to start. The stars were just starting to be visible through the thin wispy clouds. This moment had reminded me of my childhood. A younger version of myself holding my teddy bear close to me as I looked up at the glow-in-the-dark stars that designed my ceiling. Though these moments were very similar, this was the present. I'm not a little kid anymore, I'm 24 now. I'm not holding a teddy bear anymore, this is my boyfriend even though he is as cuddly and soft as a teddy bear would be. I wanted to live in this moment forever.
