kates pov
"Kate look at me please," said Luke

"I can't because he's behind you"

"BEAU GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" as soon as Luke yelled, I saw Beau drive off

"Kate, what's wrong ?"

"Your brother he's just so confusing and infuriating to be around and he gets in this weird mood and I don't know what-"

"Kate, listen to me, Beau is always like that. He's always in his moods but that's only because his heart has been broken more than enough times. He needs someone to bring him back to the old him."

"So let's find that someone"

"Kate, that someone is you."

"what"

"You're the opposite of him and if you are able to break his shell, he most likely will be back to normal. Let's make a bet."

This isn't going to be good, but what could be so bad?

"So what's the catch?"

"Date my brother"

My heart stopped, my eyes almost teared apart, "What do you mean?"

"Date him, if you fall for him and he falls for you, I win. If you don't fall for him and he doesn't fall for you I win."

"Sure, when's the deadline?"

"Love doesn't have a deadline. Let's go to my place."

I got into Luke's BMW and we drove to his house. Once we were in front of his house, I looked around to see three other cars outside. I saw a black BMW, a grey truck, and the black jeep. Luke held my hand and I held his back. His hand felt warm and inviting. His house was like a mini mansion, it had 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms, a ginormous kitchen, a living room, and a backyard with a pool.

"JAI, stop using my shit asshole!" The voice came from upstairs and I already knew who it was.

"Do you still want to proceed the bet or do you want to be with someone else?" Luke looked down at our hands and squeezed my hand a little tighter.

"A bet's a bet unless someone wants to change it."

Luke's pov

Kate was beautiful and a great person. I could see us being together but I can't see her being with Beau, it would break my heart.

"Let's say someone were to break the bet. Would you give that person a chance?"

"Depends, who is that person?"

"Anyone."

"Maybe," she grinned, and looked at the ground. What would I give her? Would she want to be mine? Would she want me?

"I'm calling it off"

"What? Really?!"

"Yes"

"I would love to go out with you," she smiled at me and I had no control. Those hazel eyes, her dark brown hair, her fair skin, her beauty was painful. Our lips connected, my hand caressed her cheeks and moved their way to the back of her neck. I could feel my lip ring warming up from the friction. She will be mine, no one will take that away, especially my brothers.
