Chapter 4: Dinner

APOV

*RIIIIIIIIIING*

I looked at my phone to see Stevie calling. I placed my guitar on the bed and picked up my phone. I had a bad feeling but I didn't know why.

"Hello? Is everything alright? Did something go wrong?" I asked hesitantly.

"No. Everything is fine except that I'm kind of panicking because Adriana is here. I'm in the restroom right now but I don't think she saw me. Ally, what do I do?" She replied as she sounded so worried.

Adriana fucking Miller. The girl who Stevie fell for after telling her that what they had was only a one night stand. She's kind of like Stevie's mind fucker, Stevie can't resist her and I totally understand because I too have a mind fucker. Am I jealous though? Fuck YES.

"Do you want me to go and pick you up?" I asked as I already got my keys and walked to my car.

"Yes please." She said.

"For now, hang out with Alex and don't make eye contact with Adrian if she sees you. I love you and I'll be there in 10." I said as I hung up.

SPOV

I went to the bar and sat on a stool while I just looked at my hands.

"Anything wrong boss?" Alex asked as she poured me a glass of wine.

"Adriana is here." I said as she handed me the wine.

"Oh shit. Does Ally know?" She asked as I sipped my wine.

"Yes. She's on her way here." I said as Alex's eyes widened and looked past me. I felt a gentle touch on my shoulder. There she was.

"Stevie." Adriana said as she sat on the stool next to me.

"Adriana." I said as she smiled. Her smile could melt someone.

"So. It's been what, a 2 years?" She asked as I finished my wine.

"Yes." I said as I tried not to look her straight in the eyes.

"Heard you're getting married." She said as I was physically frozen.

"Yes." I said.

"Why aren't you communicating with me like a human being? Am I ghost? Am I some supernatural being? What's wrong?" She asked as I felt her hand on my thigh.

"There's no--" I said as I saw Ally enter.

"Babe!" She yelled as she walked to me. I smiled because this is the first time she ever called me babe. It's always lady or woman.

Adriana removed her hand from my thigh. Ally got closer and pulled me in for the sexiest kiss ever. It was passionate. Her hand was on the back of my neck as I continued to kiss her. Finally, she pulled away and just stared at me.

"Missed me?" She said as I bit my lip. I heard Adriana clear her throat as I stood up from my stool.

"Oh sorry. Ally, this is Adriana. Adriana, this is Ally." I said as Ally shook hands with Adriana.

"Nice to meet you." Ally said as Adriana looked suspicious.

"Anyways, it was great seeing you. I really gotta go." I said as Adriana smiled at me and said goodbye.

That was a close one.

APOV

"Ally, wake up!" Stevie said as she shook me by my shoulders.

"Stevie, I'm tired. I just want to sleep." I said as she continued to shake me.

I opened my eyes and saw Stevie all wearing a white shirt and her hair up. She looked like she was going out.

"Why so dressed up?" I asked as she went to a mirror and fixed herself.

"Allison, it's 5 fucking 30! We have dinner with your family in an hour!" She yelled as I looked at my phone to see that it was already 5:30.

"You just woke up?" I asked as I put on my black ripped pants.

"Yes! We slept throughout the whole day." She said as I laughed and wore a black muscle tee. I put on my usual make up and we speed walked to my car. I drove to the restaurant my mom texted me. Noodle Sonno was the restaurant's name which is 'Sleepy Noodle' in English. What an amazing name.

We arrived and got a good parking spot at 6:23 PM. I saw my parents and Kimber already sat at a table. They waved at us as we made our way there.

"Hey." My mom said as she stood up and hugged me and Stevie. After that I sat next to Kimber and Stevie sat next to me.

We ordered our food and when it arrived, we just talked about the wedding and stuff.

"So. I heard you guys wanted a Hawaiian wedding huh?" My dad asked as I smiled and nodded.

"You guys planned the details yet?" My mom asked.

"We planned some of it already." Stevie replied as I continued to eat.

"You guys know who you are gonna invite yet?" Kimber asked.

"Just some friends and family. We don't want it to be too big." I said as I continued eating.

"Oh gosh! I'm just so excited. I can't wait!" My mom said out of nowhere.

"Mom, Ally's the one getting married not you." Kimber said as we laughed.

"I can't believe my baby is gonna be married!" My mom said as I heard Stevie laugh. I looked at Stevie and made my pouty face. She smiled and kissed my cheek.

After dinner, Stevie and I decided to go home and just watch Netflix with the cats.

We got home and we just sat on our couch while we sidled like the old days. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
