I look up to the class clock, time is going more slow than usual. I look up to my friend who also was staring at the clock, I guess we are both really excited. Anyway let me introduce myself I am kate. I'm 15 years old and live in Australia. Currently I am in school waiting for the damn bell to ring. This summer my parents have paid for me to go to Hawaii for a whole 6 weeks, but one of the best parts is all my friends are coming with me. All of a sudden a loud RING snaps me out of my thoughts. "OMG, ITS SUMMER'.Me and one of my best friends reef run to each other ( since we are in the same class) "omg we are finally going to Hawaii "I yell. We both scream and run out to go talk to all the others. All of my friends have a place where we all meet ( since we aren't all in the same class). Me and reef quickly run to our spot, to be greeted with everyone looking really excited. "OKAY everyone" !! I yell. "We are all leaving tomorrow", I say in the most professional voice I can. So tonight we all need to have a group call to make sure we all have everything we need. Everyone nods eagerly. Before I go on let me introduce you to all my friends ( it's a long list ) so you have already met reef and then there is liedya, Daisy, Gemma, manda, Kathy, sammy, zoella, Amy and last but not least Brooke. Anyway we all went home. I had to stay a bit later at school since my mum works there. I walked down the empty school hall to go get my bag since we were going home early ( for me ) so I could go and pack. When I suddenly bumped into one of the bully boys gang member ( it's what me and my friends call them). "Watch where your going" he says in probably the rudest tone I have ever heard. "ME!! Watch where I'm going "I say fuming with anger, listen here you need to back off and learn that the world does not revolve around you so do not tell me to watch where I am going ever again next time try apologising. I walk off trying not to laugh at his face when I told him off, he's probably used to everyone kissing his feet but not me I do not take that from anyone. I quickly run into my mums office and dumped my school bag on the floor. I hear my mum calling my name so I walk over to her. "Hey honey are you ready to go",she says in an excited tone. You would almost think she is more excited for me to go on this trip than I am. "All good mum ",I say practically screaming. Well let's go and get you packed she says well grabbing her stuff.
Once we get home I run out the car to be greeted by my big brother ( only by 12 mins ) who is also my twin. Unfortunately him and his friends are coming on the trip. Yay !! ( note the sarcasm). "I'm all packed "he says with a goofy grin on his face you should get started because I really don't mind leaving you behind. I roll my eyes and run up stairs almost tripping in the process. I quickly grab my phone which basically has my life on it. No I'm not a phone addict..... Ok maybe I am just a little but I really can't help myself. I ring all my friends in a group call and luckily they all pick up except Brooke who hates technology. Sometimes I don't know how we are best friends but what can I say opposites attract. "Okay "I say taking charge of the group chat. Iv got a list of things we all need to pack for tomorrow. I read out the list while all the girls tick off or pack their things. Ever since me and my friends found out we were going to Hawaii we have been saving up and everyone has got a hella lot of money to blow on this trip. As all of us ended the call I checked the time to see it was already 11:00pm so I decided to hit the sack. I have this thing where I can't Really sleep at night, not because I'm scared or get nightmares or anything just because I can't sleep don't ask me why. So to help me fall asleep I listen to music which always seems to help. I turn on my phone put in some headphones and listen to music while I slowly drift into sleep and dream about how great this holiday is going to be I really can't wait and I'm pretty sure all of my friends are the same.
