Chapter 3

It as bin two days since Marina had come back into my life. And well things are a little awkward between us, I try and make things like they where before when we where buddies. But that atmosphere doesn't last long. And for the past two days the gems are still looking for lapis and Jasper. They haven come back at all.

Right now I'm sitting on the dock eating strawberry ice cream looking out at the beach. ' I miss the gems ' I think to myself as I shy. " hay Steven" says a familiar voice I turn around to see Sadie. " hay Sadie " I say looking at her and than turn around. " what's up" she says sitting down next to me " mmmm, not Much the gem have bin gone for two days" I say than pause for a minute " that's a long time when Do you think they will be back" she says looking at me.

" who knows they could be gone of weeks" I say than lick my ice cream. " oh and Marina is back " I say and than look back at Sadie. " oh, cool what brought her back" she says sort of smiling. " she was thrown from the ocean and at the beach and into me" I say pointing to a band aid.

" hahaha " she says laughing " that's funny Steven" she says whipping a tear from her eye. I don't say a word I just look back at the ocean and finished my ice cream. * shy * " I should go see you around Steven" she says getting up than ruffling my hair, as she left. " bye Sadie " I say, I Waite a few minutes than get up and walk somewhere els.

Steven offered to take me with him for ice cream but I said no thank you. I just wanted to stay at his house and wait till the crystal gems came back so I can go home. I still don't feel welcome here but, I stay because I don't want to leave Steven hear a lone Plus I missed him. Right now I sitting on the bottom of the stairs of his house.

I'm just drawing in the sand with a stick I found near by, as I watch the waves brake. I get up bored and begin to walk left down the beach. As I walk down the beach I come across a cave in the side of the cliff right next to the water. Luckily it's low tide other wise the cave probably would be filled with water. I walk into the cave to see lost of sea plants and animals such as algae, barnacle's, and peaces of coral.

As I walk down the cave I began to see sparks, eventually I see a big enough one. I walk up to it and saw they where gems. I keep walking till I come to a little pole of water, it was glowing. Not just from the light hitting it their was something down their. I couldn't make it out, ( I could go down their and see what it is ) I think to myself. I than hear the waves splashing as it get darker in the cave, I look behind me and saw the tide comes great In.

( I'll come back ) I think to myself and I turn around and run to the exit of the cave before the tide blocks my way out. As a huge wave washes over me, it pulls me back into the cave and down into what once was a pile of water. Is now just a hole in the ocean, as the water sucks me down to the bottom of the pit. I trans form into a mermaid so I won't suffocate.

But by the time I transformed into a mermaid I hit the bottom and rolled s little as the pressure faintly bused me now. Once it stopped I opened my eyes and saw thousands of bubbles with gems in them. But out of the thousands of gems one particular one caught my eye. It was in a yellow bubble, I walk up to it to see it was long and bumpy it was clear with blue faded from the bottom to the top.

I was about to touch it but than something felt off. I look around to see I was a lone but I felt as if someone was watching me. So I just grab the bubble and swim out of their and out of the cave. And run back to Stevens house. Once I get back I walk up the stairs with the bubble in my arms carful not to pop it.

Once I get to the top I see Steven " where did you go " asked Steven " I went for a walk and found a cave and found a hole thing of bubbles in side of it. This is one of them " I say showing him the bubble. " I have never seen a Yellow bubble before" he says looking at it. " can I hold it " he asked a little excited, I node my head and hand it to him.

Once I hand it to him he looks at it " oh this one is co-" he says as he was cut off by a poping sound with the following sound of the gem falling to the floor.
