New Job

Its been a month i completed IIT. My new job at Diamonds pvt. ltd. will be starting from tomorrow. I am appointed as the Business Head of that company. I'm very excited but again... i'm also nervous. Its been 6 years for me in India. Life is normal.

(Next morning) I'm sitting in my new cabin. Its awesome. No concession even for the first day. Loads of work i have!!!

I return home at 7pm. "Hey mom!" I shout. "Hey honey how was your day?" Mom says smiling.
Me: It was great!
Mom: Well thats nice.

After talking some more i freshen up, change my clothes and come down for dinner. Its 8:30 now. Ok i know its a bit early but i'm hungry!
As i come down my dad gets back home. "Now as your late first have your dinner and then change" my mom tells my dad. We start with our dinner and some regular topics to chat like 'how was the day' etc etc.

Dad: So you both are going tomorrow for preparations or we'll go together day after tomorrow directly at the hall?
Me: Mom, we'll go tomorrow. After all its Akki's engagement so i have to be there for preparations!
Mom: Yeah. We'll be leaving tomorrow at 11am.
(Akki lives in Pune only but in some different area i.e at Pimpri. So it takes 45 minutes to go to her house from mine.)
Dad: Ok but i have work so i'll come directly day after tomorrow just to attend the function.
Mom: Ok done. But what about you Kim?
Me: Me? What about me?
Mom: You'll have to take a leave right?
Dad: You don't worry bout that. I'll handle it.
Me: Thanks dad!

As we finish with our dinner i pack my bag for tomorrow and go to sleep.

Next morning we reach Akki's place at 12 noon. We have our lunch and start with our preps.
Me: So finally you guys are getting married!
Akki: Yeah i'm damn happy!
Me: So how many siblings Yash has?
Akki: C'mon Kim, you know him for so many years and you don't know how many siblings he's having?
Me: Dude stop over exaggerating and tell!
Akki: Fine he has 1 sis who's 2 years elder than him n has a baby of 3 months. Then he also has a bro-Abhimanyu, who's of your age.
Me: Oh. I've heard oh his sis but never of his bro.
Akki: Abhi (Abhimanyu) is been in New York after he finished his 10th. The last time he came to India was exactly when you came. Infact he came with Yash at tulshi baug also but he was roaming here and there alone, not with Yash. And next morning he again left for NYC so we couldn't meet him. And after that now he's shifted to India permanently and he's been appointed as the CEO of Pearls pvt. ltd. Actually he shifted here yesterday only. And he'll be starting with his job day after tomorrow.
Me: Wow you know so much about him!
Akki: Yeah. Yash told me all this.
