The Dead Are Back..

Part 4

October 12th 1997 12:00AM

●Savanna●

I walked towards a house, everyone else was sleeping in the tents some snored like crazy. I sighed and unlocked the door quietly and sneaked inside, I took some food and water then left locking the door again, I put the stuff in my bag that I had over my shoulder, I went back to the tent with Carl and Daryl inside it, then went to sleep.

                                                                  October 13th 7:00AM,

I heard Carl wake up and turned to face him, I noticed that some other people were awake outside of the tents laughing and talking, I sat up, Carl was playing with his gun, I left the tent Carl started to follow.

"And you two can go hunting"

I heard someone tell us, I narrowed my eyes gripping my bow "You have no right to boss us around" I told the man who was holding a gun firmly gripped in his hands.

"I said go hunt!"

The man replied angrily and walked over to us gun aimed "Get away from us, or what happened to that man yesterday will happen to you next" I replied calmly.

"I don't care, you wouldn't be brave enough!"

The man laughed, I narrowed my eyes and shot an arrow through his shin "What was that?" I asked aiming another bow with an arrow at him, he put his hands up.

"I surrender you brat"

He replied sharply, I looked at Carl who aimed his gun at his head, I rolled my eyes "want one through your head?" I said and stepped over him, Carl followed me to the barn with horses inside, I got a horse out of a stall and tacked it up. The horse is pure black with dark blue eyes, I knew what to name this horse "I'm naming this horse, Black Beauty" I muttered and got onto the horses back into the arena with jumps, Carl watched me.

"What about that big jump?"

I heard a voice, I stopped and saw a girl standing nearby the gate, I rolled my eyes, the horse snorted, I made the horse trot towards the biggest fence and jump over, I stopped for a moment and looked at Carl who was obviously not trusting the girl near the gate.

"That one!!!!"

The girl ordered I narrowed my eyes at her and came over to her "I'm not listening to a little kid who i have no idea who she is!" I said, the girl looked younger then me and Carl. Me and Carl brought the horse back into the stable when Rick and Daryl walked inside, we both looked at them.

"Who was that man outside? With an arrow through him?"

Rick asked and stared at me, I looked at him "He threatened to kill us if we don't go outside the gates" I explained and looked at Carl who stared at Rick.

"Well tell someone next time or just.... Nevermind.."

Rick said to me, I nodded and walked away. Gosh, he threatened us! Your suppose to help us not tell us what to do! I thought and sat outside the back of the barn where nobody could see me.
