Chapter 1: A brief history

A burst of air suddenly exited my mouth, it was as if I coudn't breath. I woke up on the floor, probally just fell off and hit my head. It's the year 2210 and alot has changed over the past two milleniums. In the year 2066 World War 3 had broken out and it was by far the most devastating, dangerous, and explosive war that even the two world wars combined could not begin to compare to the power and destruction it brought to the world. It was nothing that anyone had ever seen before and nearly wiped all existence of plant, animal, and human life form. Those who walk this earth today simply refer to it as The War. What Albert Einstein feared he predicted the most almost came true and his words were: I do not know what kind of weapons will be used in WW3 but WW4 will be fought with sticks. Till this day the reason for why the war broke out is unknown and is a matter of national security. The war lasted for more than 10 decades and the results were catastrophic and what's worse is once everything settled down it almost took a millenium to get back where the world used to stand, once a beautiful planet, now a wasteland filled with nothing but debris and polluted air and water. Those who were lucky enough to survive would have rather chosen to die than to live another day in this pitiful world which turned to hell. Only few people had survived but not all. Some small countries and nations had been completely wiped from the face of the earth. Those who did not have the courage, the power, the intellect, faith, or will did not survive.
WW3 changed the world like no other, instead of having 7 continents we now only have 2, the war had either destroyed or merged the land mass into eachother, just one of the many effects the war has brought. It did not last long until an alliance was made and soon everyone that had survived had agreed. Top priority wasgiven to gaining strength in numbers for workforce then help make or find food and water. The War served as a reminder that no one is bound to his country, let yourself to choose the path you take and that we are all just human beings and should be working together instead of against eachother. Once a large enough workforce was established they started focusing more on livestock and agriculture and plantlife. Special ops teams were devided into 2 groups, team Alfa would go to switzerland where there is a hidden facilty said to be housing different types of seeds to ensure plant life should D-day come. Team Bravo would be heading to afghanistan and africa to extract as many wildlife as they could find and also extract anyone who they might encounter on their way regardless of who they are. The projector went blank and the lights switched on, Mr. Alex, my history teacher said: alright class that concludes todays brief discussion about The War. Class is dismissed you are all free to go home.
