So sorry it's late, very late actually. I've been really busy these last few months. BUT I FINALLY DID IT. Thank you for reading (if you are a reader) and I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Thank you xxxx
The first day of school. Great. Talent school. I know I haven't got any talents yet but seriously. They will come in there own time right. The orphanage are making me go. Yeah the orphanage I got abandoned by a river when I was three months old, I was found by a young Witch a few days later. I never knew why my mum left me there. I had so many questions, but I now couldn't care less about her. All that was left with me was a blanket and a letter, a letter I've never been able to read, not until I get my powers and turn dark that is. "Amelia, a little faster please". Jasmine was really bossy, just because she got the sight talent she began to think that she was the "seeker" of us all. She had jet black hair which is normal when you get your talent and are taken for the dark, but the eyes depend on what is really inside. If you have blue eyes it means you are trying to be good. And black eyes mean that you are evil inside and out. Jasmines eyes were yellow though which means that you are mostly evil but there's a little good inside. "Yeah whatever, I'll be there now", I mumbled, she closed the door and I grabbed a pair of black leggings and a grey top and put them on, I grabbed my bag and went down the stairs. "No breakfast out now, quickly". Jasmine shoved me out the door and slammed it behind me. "That was really mean!, I like you for that!", I shouted through a window.
"Thanks being mean feels good, now move it!", she shouted back, I walked off with a grin on my face, it was a fairly warm day but the air was still cold. I walked for about ten minuets before I finally got to the gate. I walked through it and up to the doors. The doors opened on there own I stood there for a second then continued to walk. "Amelia, over here, this is your timetable get to your class quickly". A woman with jet black hair and the same colour eyes said. "Thanks" I said and walked off. I had death first. I found the room I was meant to be in and knocked on the door. Once again it opened on its own and I walked in. "Your late sit and open the book on your desk to page twenty seven" I went to my seat and opened the book on the desk. How to bring death with a glance of your victim. What a lovely subject to study. "I don't even have a talent yet" I thought to myself. On the opposite sides of me a girl with jet black hair and the same colour eyes as the woman at the door started to brag to her friends about having the talent of death. Lucky her. And I'm stuck here with nothing. By the end of the lesson I learnt nothing. What a surprise. Well I wasn't really listening to anything the teacher was saying. Next up. Sight. Yay, seeing the future. Maybe I'll find out if I ever get a boyfriend. Kidding, kidding. I'm not really.Second lesson finally finished and I was on my way to the canteen where I found everyone from my year lined up outside. "Excuse me, but what's going on?" I asked a girl with black hair, obviously and yellow eyes. "It's the naming. You know, where you get put into a house depending on your talent". Shit. "Ow, thanks".
"Your welcome, I'm Jessica by the way"
"Amelia" I said as we shook hands.
"So what's your talent?"
"The elements" she said as she set her hand on fire. "Wow". I was speechless.
"What's yours?"
My hair was already black so I can see why she asked.
"Ow, umm. I don't have a talent yet" I said while looking at the floor.
"Don't worry when you get named you'll know what your talent is"
"I hope so". I smiled at her and she smiled back. All of a sudden the line started moving. There were four tables one with the symbol of death one with the elements and one with an eye on it that probably represented sight. There was one empty table. Transfiguration. The line got shorter and shorter, there were sixty of us altogether, twenty already got put into death. Another ten in sight and another twenty eight in the elements. It was Jessica's turn, she walked up to the head teacher and put her hands out flat. The head teacher began to pour powder into her hands and they waited. Suddenly the powder began to glow and a symbol began to appear. The elements symbol obviously. She walked over to the table with the elements symbol on it and sat. Finally, it was my turn I was nervous but excited at the same time. I walked up and held out my hands. The powder poured into my hands and I waited. Finally the powder began to glow. I held my breath, everyone gasped when not one but all of the symbols appeared from my hands.
