Out of the shower I sit on the side of the tub in a towel. Scrolling through my phone not caring how long I sat there till there was a knock at the door. "Yeah?" I said with no reply. I quickly grab my robe and throw it on along with my underwear. "Who's there?" I ask, again with no reply. "Rose if this is you your so dead." I walk to the door and slowly turn the knob with my heart beating nearly out of my chest. I throw the door open and no ones there. "Rose?" I ask once more, when I hear footsteps behind me. I whip around as quickly as I could and I see our Australian Shepard standing there wagging her nub of a tail. "Damn it Piper you scared me." She turned her head looking confused and pranced on out of the bathroom. She was a cute little thing tan and white like a smore, her little nubby tail made her look like a baby bear from behind.
With a sigh of relief I get dressed and gather my dirty clothes and wet towel. I head to the laundry room where piles of my clothes and Roses take up 80% of the space. "Man i really need to do laundry" "Yeah you really do." Rose says behind me. "You know you can do your laundry too right?" "Yeah well its boring and gross and I just don't want to." Rose complained. "Oh, and Wendy's sitting in the living room." She said walking in that direction. Wendy, she was beautiful, with long black hair having a slight curl to it, and ocean blue eyes. She was tanner than the rest of us for some reason she didn't mind the sun as much. It was odd for our kind but Wendy in no way was considered normal. It was one of the best things about her. I had not seen her for maybe 3 years now. I was glad she was here but concerned why.
I walk into the room and shes watching Law and Order with Rose. I snuck up behind her and placed my hands over her eyes. "Hey" Wendy said "What did you do that for?" I just smiled and removed my hands from her face. She whipped around smiled at me. "Hey stranger where have you been hiding?" I asked delighted to see her. "Oh, I've been around" she claimed. "Wendy!" Rose wined "You said you would take me on a hike." "I did didn't I? Well i guess we can go. You want to come Emma?" Her ocean blue eyes sparkle and I would agree to do anything at that point. "Yeah sure let me go put my shoes on i'll meet you guys outside." I said heading back to my bedroom. "How has your sister been?" Wendy asked. "Fine why does it matter?" Rose questioned with an attitude. "Because I haven't seen you or her in like 3 years. I can tell your doing fine but your sister does not show her emotions like you do." "Yes she does" Rose argued. "It just mostly anger." "What ever you say Rose." She sighed. "Lets head outside and stretch okay?" Rose nodded in agreement and they headed out the door.
