Breeze flows through the air, passing by trees and people that walk by. A piece of paper flying throughout the sky, flipping and landing on an adjacent building. As the wind blows, a girl thinks to herself, wondering how to spend her day. Her long, blonde, silky hair flows along with the wind. A sigh escapes the girl's lips, as she sits on a nearby park bench.
"Sure is breezy out today." said the girl, as she put up her hood to keep warm.
A grin spreads across the girl's face.
"Finally, the sun came out..."
Gazing up at the sky, the Sun reflects into the young girl's brilliant, deep blue eyes.
"Pacifica!!!" A young brunette called for the blonde, running up to her while also trying to catch her breath.
"Mabel? What are you doing here?" The blue eyed girl looked quizzically into the the other girls eyes.
"I just moved here today! Isn't this awesome?! Now we could spend more time together and hang out!" The blonde just stood there, frozen by her companion's reply to her question. Unknown to the young female Pines twin, Pacifica was having a battle within her own mind.
'What am I gonna do? I'm happy that Mabel is here to stay, but I just don't know if my heart can take being around her for so long...'
"Hello? Anybody home? Earth to Pacifica!" Mabel tries to get the dazed girl's attention, but nothing is making her budge. The next thing Mabel does surprises Pacifica, and herself.
A deep scarlet blush develops on Pacifica's face when she realizes what Mabel has done.
"M-Mabel! D-Did you j-just kiss me?!" As the seconds pass by, Pacifica's whole head looks red.
"Well, yeah. That was the only way for me to get your attention. You were kinda dazing off..." Embarrassed of her actions, Mabel look to the ground, twiddling her thumbs nervously.
"I'm sorry if I disturbed you in any way... I guess I'll go then.."
The sad and embarrassed brunette starts to walk away, only to be stopped by the grinning blonde, whose eyes were crying tears of joy.
"Mabel, you could never disturb me. The truth is, no matter what you do, I'll always love you..." The girl then proceeds to pull her crying friend towards her and then kisses her on the lips, making the other girl cry more tears, but not of sadness.
"I love you too, Pacifica."
The two girls gaze into each other's eyes, and start to laugh at how stupid they were acting before.
"So, Pacifica, does this mean we're...?"
"Yeah, it does."
Both girls start to embrace each other, with Pacifica leaning on Mabel's shoulder.
Looking up the sky, the girls realize how they are meant for each other, and are to never be separated...
