It was October. I was out on the old rusted playground during the school day. It was cold and I could feel the cold harsh air pushing against my back. I took a deep breath and got off my swing. I started walking towards the big group of people waiting to go inside the prison that is known as school. It has been a long day.

The bell rings. Schools out. I begin to walk towards the bright yellow bus, when I hear my name called from behind.

"Ethan!"

I turn, seeing my friend Nathan running towards me moving through the kids crowding the hallways.

"Are you going to the party at MSM tonight?" He asked breathing hard

"No" I say

"Really? Why? You went last year."

"Things have changed, see ya. Got a bus to catch" I replied starting to run towards the bus.

The bus is loud. It always is. My headphones are my saviour here. I start listening and get a song by "Fall Out boy". I watch as one by one kids, like zombies get off the bus in the same direction. I am close to last. I start to think about the conversation with Nathan.

Was I to harsh? No. I just told him truth. This should be known about me if it's not already. I have anxiety and multi personality disorder. This, as a combination can be extremely hard to live with. But I deal with it anyway. The bus comes to a stop. This is my stop. The corner of woodfield and second. My home isn't that impressive, it's like all the houses on the block. In fact maybe it's like all the houses in the city, but that doesn't matter.

I get to my back door with my sister trailing behind, my music still blasting through my ears. As I walk up the back steps into the kitchen, I see my mother. She's like most moms, pretty common. She pecks me on the cheek as I walk into the living room to drop my bag. I have a test tomorrow and I'm not ready, No one is.

It's getting close to dinner. I really dislike dinner because it always ends with an argument. I wish it didn't. I begin to start thinking of life without evil, or fighting. That would be heaven. But it's a dream.

"Ethan? Dinner." Mom calls from the kitchen.

Great. Another Pain.

"Coming!" I shout getting up from my desk.
