"Hey Scott, what did you get for number 4?" I asked.
"B, why, what did you get?" He replied.
"That's what I got. Okay. Thanks."
"Mr. Stilinski, Mr. McCall! Are you two sharing answers?" Mrs. Henderson yelled, "This is a grade and if I hear cheating, you will receive a zero! No questi-" She was interrupted by the Principal walking through the door.
"Students this is Lydia and Jackson Martin. Please be welcoming and show them how we do things at Beacon Hills Elementary." With that the girl, who looked a little younger than her brother, came and sat down behind me, with her brother two rows over. I glanced over at Scott, and mouthed, "Oh my God! Score!"
And suddenly I heard her voice, "Um excuse me, um, I was just wondering if you had an extra pencil and or a piece of paper, I left all my supplies in my locker." I immediately turned around and offered her my whole pencil pouch and my binder of paper. "Just one will do for now, thanks." she said as she smiled and looked down.
"Oh, ok, but if you need anything else just ask. Like tutoring or touring or you know, a friend, just ask."
"Ok, thanks, i might take you up on the tour but I don't think I'm gonna need the tutoring." She had huge grin on her face, but I was puzzled. "You got number 1 wrong, its 45.7^4+76.2 not 45.7^7+76.2."
Bashfully I looked at my paper and sighed, "I guess maybe you should be tutoring me." I joked. She blushed and quietly laughed. Suddenly the class bell rang and we both jumped. The whole class started laughing, well all but her, she got up, hugged her books and scurried out of the room with out even waiting for her brother.
Jackson ran out after her with me and Scott on his heels.
