Beautiful Nightmare

2: The Guy

After English class, I had an hour break before the next one. So I decided to spend that hour here in my car.

I opened the bag of chips I bought while I was on my way here, and checked my phone. There was a text from my best friend saying she spotted a hottie. Code blue. Meaning super freaking hot. And I should go check it out. Ok fine.

I sighed and texted her back asking where was she at. While waiting for her reply, i fixed my things and devoured all the chips. *beep*

<At the Quad. Come Fast. ;)>

After reading her text I locked up the car and headed to the quad just next to the parking lot. I spotted her beneath a tree waving at me.

When I was infront of her, she pointed at the guy seated at a bench reading something.

Oh my gosh. He was the guy. THE GUY.

"Oh" was all i can muster up to say.

"I told you! He's so gorg isn't he?
Hey! Remember that dare you owe me? Well I'm using it now. Go talk to him."

"But Jess! Anything but that please?"

"Nuh-uh. I want to watch this. C'mon! Just say hi! Easy peasy." She said.

"Jess. I'm begging you, please. Not this!" I said using my puppy dog eyes hoping to disarm this devil I have for a best friend

"Cee, this or that pretty little secret of yours would spread like wildfire all over the internet." She answered with a smirk after it. Oh this woman is just so- UGH! I couldn't risk people knowing about that secret.

"Oh Damn it!" I muttered and stomped my way to the guy. And as I was getting nearer and nearer my heart beat was going faster and faster. I started to sweat and my palms became clammy. That girl owes me. Big Time.

I stopped in front of him. But a minute has already passed yet he didn't seem to notice me. He was so engrossed to whatever he was reading.

"Hey!" I blurted out awkwardly

That was when he looked up at me. And everything went slow motion. again. Those greenish-blue eyes stared at me, question evident in his face.

"Uh, h-hi! Uhm I just w-wanted to say hi. Okay bye." After embarassing myself infront of that beautiful creature, I spun around and started walking back to Jess.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Why the was I even stuttering? He probably thinks i'm a freak now. Well done Cee. Well done.

But before I could take another step away from him, he said;
"Hey. You're the girl from english class right?"

Omy. That voice is so... Rawr. :3

I looked back at him again, and said
"Uh yeah. That, I am. I was actually b-beside you." 

"Oh yeah. I remember. Did you wanna say something aside from just hi?" He asked me with what looks like a hopeful glint in his eyes.

"Oh. Not really, my friend kinda dared me to just say hi. If she wouldn't have something against me then I wouldn't be bothering you and highly embarassing myself to a gorgeous creature-" O.o ohhhh fvck. Did I just. Mygod cee you're such an idiot!

PERFECT. just perfect. My nerves took over me causing me to blurt everything out. Genius.

"Aaand embarassing myself even more. I'm sincerely sorry for bothering you. I should just crawl under a rock now. Bye."
I said with my head bowed down so that he wouldn't see my face, that was red as a tomato.

I was about to walk away when, I heard laughter erupting from him. Gosh even his laugh sounds so sexy.

"Gorgeous huh?"

"I'm sorry I just tend to not filter my words once im nervous."

"Nervous? I make you nervous?"
He answered with a cheeky grin plastered to his face.

I felt myself loosen up. Well good thing he found my outburst amusing. I let out a soft giggle and said

"Yeah. I'm really sorry for bothering you though. I should probably go now so you could go back to what you were reading."
But a part of me was not fond of the idea of ending our conversation. But I think luck was really on my side because he said

"You're taking up your pre med right? This right here is Science notes. You see, I already tried everything just to memorize this whole thing. But Science and me don't really get along very well. Could you please help me for just a tad bit? I mean if you're not busy ofcourse." I could see that he was really in a struggle so I smiled and sat beside him and took the papers he was reading.

"Hmm. Let me see. Oohhh Zoology, I love this subject"

I talked him through the basics of the subject and explained the lesson he was stuck on

I was talking non-stop for an hour because he was totally clueless. The bell rang reminding me that I have class and i'm gonna be late.
Oh sht!

"Oh I totally forgot about my next class. I think i should go. Bye!"

I stood up and ran to where my next class was but unfotunately I was already 15 minutes late. Meaning no more Math class for me. Mr. Louise has already locked the door.
I felt my lungs hurt. Maybe beacause of running from the quad to the far edge of the campus. Hah. Obviously.

I leaned on the walls of the empty hallway panting. Closing my eyes, trying to concentrate on my breathing. Damn not now! I reached for my backpack but i realized I left it in my car. Oh gosh. This is bad

I slowly stood up straight. Clasping my chest. I tried to walk back to the parking but the pain in my chest intensified. My legs gave up and I fell. My vision blurry, then black.
