3:05
A low growl escaped the darkness of the hallway in front of me. Chills ran down my spine as the creature emerged into the dim light of my room, revealing it's hideous face. It had four rows of razor sharp teeth, stained with the crimson remains of it's last victim. It's piercing red eyes stared through me, chilling me like icy blades. It was fairly large and looked like a person but it seemed to be rotting and smelled like a sewer.
Lettin out a terrifying noise, it lurched forward, arms outstretched as it made it's way towards me. I started running to the door, pushing past it. The thing chased after me, grabbing the tail of my shirt as I ran into the unlit hall. I broke away and continued running, trying to get out of the house. I scrambled to make it downstairs to the door.
I looked up as it ran towards me. Its flesh was rotting; it had a grayish, sickly skin tone. It was covered in blood, I assumed it wasn't it's own but the closer I looked, I saw that it had chunks of flesh missing, it's abdomen was split open, oozing putrid smelling fluids and strings of intestines. It tripped on a dog toy that had been abandoned on a stair step and tumbled toward me, knocking its face on the railing.
When it stood back up, the skin on the left side of its face was peeling off, starting by the remains of its nose; its left eye was dangling by tissue and vessels. Blood poured out of the now empty eye socket. It staggered in pain toward me, the fall had broken the bone in it's leg, the bone protruding out. The monster didn't care though, it continued after me.
It let out another growl, then threw it's head back making a noise that sounded vaguely like laughter , the dangling face skin and partially disembodied eye flopped back as its head did and then rested in an even more awkward position than before. Blood from the eye socket, peeled face, and broken leg was soaking the monster's already blood stained clothes.
It was wearing tee shirt that looked like it used to be a grayish white. Among the blood stains was the faded logo of some band I didn't like. It was wearing blue jeans that were more of a dark brownish grey now. They were covered in bloodstains and holes. It wasn't wearing any shoes, so it's dirty feet were easy to see. It's toe nails were a brownish yellow and they were so long that they almost looked more dangerous than it's teeth. This would be the last thing I would ever see, I was sure of it.
All of a sudden the monster let out a tremendous, deafening screech as it lunged at me with it's mouth agape. It's blood stained teeth shimmered in the moonlight that poured in through the window behind me. It had me now and there was nothing I could do, I could not escape. I could feel the the crunching of my bones and the warm blood seeping through my shirt as the creature knawed at my arm. All of a sudden I woke up, back in my room. It had all been a dream. I looked at my clock, it changes to 3:05. Then, a low growl came from outside my door.
