So Amelia, where'd you come from?" Xavier asked, i walked over and sat by Danny on my bed, Xavier was now sitting on my spiny chair and Ben and Evan are on the beanbags Danny brought in for them and Kris was lying on top of my desk, he had put the stuff that was on it in the draws. "I come from Phoenix" i said and Kriz shot up and cheered, i gave them all a confused look "Kriz is from Phoenix" Danny said i nodded in understanding. "How long have you been living in New York?" Ben asked i sighed "um about 3 years" i told them hoping they wouldn't ask why i moved here. "Why did you move here" Evan asked i sighed great just my luck "i moved here with my boyfriend" i told them they all nodded "so you didn't move with your parents?" Xavier asked i shook my head "how old are you?" Evan asked "17 how old are all of you?" i asked. "17" Evan said "18" Danny said "19"Xavier said "18" Ben said "17" Kriz said, i nodded. "Wait so you moved here when you were 14? With your boyfriend?" Evan asked, ii sighed and put my head down and nodded thinking we were past this "yeah, don't judge" i told him he put his hands up in defense "i wasn't judging i just wanted to know why?" he asked i nodded. "Well my parents died and he was all i had" i said not wanting to go into detail "had? what happened did you split?" Xavier asked i nodded "sort of" i said "what does that mean?" Danny asked curiously. I sighed looking up at all of them "he died" i said all of there expressions turned from curious to worry and shock, "what happened to him?" Ben asked "he died you douche" Evans said smacking him upside the head, i giggled at this "i know that you prick i wanted to know how" he said slapping him back. "He went out one night with his so called friends but turns out they were some people he pissed of back in Phoenix and they wanted him gone so they made nice with him and pushed him of a bridge into cars killing him instantly" i explained, i looked at all of them and they all had sad expressions on there faces. "How old was he?" Danny asked "17" i said feeling tears start to sting my eyes "how old were you?" he asked again "15" i told them they all nodded. "What was his name?" Ben asked "Jasper, we met when i was 12 and we started dating a couple of weeks after, when my parents died he knew i needed to get away so we ran away together and this is were we ended up, he was only 15 but he managed to buy us an apartment, but when he died i lost it" i explained knowing if i'm going to be in a band with these guys i may as well tell them my past. "I'm so sorry Amelia" Danny said wrapping his arm around my shoulder bring me closer to him and hugging me, i hugged back emotionless that's all i've ever gotten and i don't want an apology, apologies they won't give me back my life. I pulled away from him and we started to move on from the subject of dead boyfriend and parents.
After about an hour of talking and laughing, i really liked these guys it felt like we had been friends our whole life's not less than 24 hours.I also learned i have a lot in common with all of them. "Have you ever cut?" Evan asked out of the blue, i gave him a confused look "what?" i asked he sighed "have you ever cut yourself?" he asked again, i shook my head immediatly "no, and that's the truth so don't think that this is just a cover up, i don't see why people need to cut it doesn't solve anything in a way it just makes everything ten times worse than it already is. Plus wrists are for bracelets not for cutting" i said. He smiled and nodded "great, that is a really good point we should use that, you know in the interviews we have and stuff if people start asking what we would say to cutters and people like that" He said i nodded "maybe you should" i said. After that it went silent we had basically learned everything about each other. "So are you in or not?" Danny asked from beside me, i looked at them all and smiled "yeah, i'm in" i said they all shot up and cheered and jumped on the bed closing me into a group hug i laughed non stop and when they pulled away Ben said "well that was awkward" making us all crack up laughing. "So you wanna sing a song, you pick just to see if we can all play well together?" Danny asked i smiled at him and nodded "sure", they all got of the bed and headed to the door, Danny grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him, they led me down a long hall and into a large recording studio room, my eyes widened this is a dream it has to be but i would've woken up by now. "Go sit on the seat next to Danny" Xavier told me. I nodded and walked over to were Danny was sat, the rest of the guys took a seat surrounding us and Danny grabbed a microphone and handed one to me as well. I smiled "so what song do you wanna sing?" Danny asked i though about it for a minute "do you know Broken by Seether and Amy Lee?" i asked they all smiled and nodded "yeah i love that one" Danny answered i smiled. The music started playing and i was suddenly really nervous, i don't know why but i guess this is a big opportunity for me.

When the music finally stopped i looked away from Danny only just realizing that we were looking at each other through the whole song. I looked around and smiled at everyone they all smiled back and clapped "you have an amazing voice" Ben said i blushed slightly "thanks" i said quietly "you have an amazing voice to Danny and all of you guys are amazing at playing music you really are" i complimented all of them. "Thanks" they all said in unison. I guess i'm gonna get used to this now.
