Chapter 5 - Austin or Shuann?

"It's 4, what should I wear?" Suddenly I hear a knock on the door. "Julia, I have something for you." I hear Jeni shout. So I opened the door to let her in. My eyes widened as I saw the peach-colored cocktail dress. "Here. I have your dress." Jeni said as she gave it to me. I went to the bathroom to try it on and to my surprise it looks good on me. "Julia, I almost forgot...your heels." After wearing the dress and putting on the heels, Jeni started to do my make-up and hair. We basically finished after an hour and a half. It was 5:30. "Jeni, I can't do this." I said. "What do you mean?" "I can't walk properly. Help." I squealed a little. "Don't be silly, come on." Jeni replied. "Wait. Oh my god, I totally forgot Austin was picking me up at 5pm and it's already 5:30pm. I was supposed to give him a call. Ahhhhh!!! What do I do?" "Well, don't just stand there, call him!" Jeni shouted. "I'm ashamed, I'll text him instead."

Message:
Hi Austin. Sorry, but I decided not to ride with you anymore. Also, sorry for this late message.

"You know you should've just called him." Jeni said. "I insist not to. I'm too ashamed of myself right now." Suddenly, my phone beeped and received a message, it was from Austin.

Message from Austin:
You might think I'm mad of you being late but it's fine. I'm serious. Since it looks like your done preparing, I'll be there in awhile.

"Awww, how sweet of him to still offer you a ride." "Stop Jeni." I exclaimed. "Omg, are you blushing, your turning red Julia. HAHAHA!" I can feel it, my face is burning. Do I actually like him? "Stop Jeni, enough. Don't you have to go now and meet up with Chace?" I said in an annoyed tone. "Okay, okay. I'm leaving now. See you!" Jeni said and waved. 10 minutes passed and still no Austin. "Will he really pick me up or is he actually pretending to pick me up so I would look like a fool?" I thought to myself. Then, the doorbell rang. "Yes, who is it?" I rant to open the door. "Hi." said Austin. "Oh, Austin hi." I replied. "So, let's go?" "Yeah, let's go." I smiled and we walked to his car. Damn he has a nice car. A Ferrari Jeni you've always wanted to ride on of these. He opened the door for me. What gentleman. "All set, of we go." I just smiled at him and he smiled back.

Austin's P.O.V

I parked my car and opened the door for Julia. Damn she looked so beautiful in her pink dress. So cute as well. People were looking at us but that didn't mind me, I hope it doesn't mind her though. I brought Julia to room where I, Cole, Shaunn and Lucas stays. They were quite surprised especially Shaunn. Lucas went to me and asked, "Man, you brought her here. Can't you see the flaming eyes of Shaunn?" "Who cares? Besides she even was fine with it." I replied to Lucas. "Ummm, Austin." Julia tapped me on the shoulders. "I go look for Jeni for awhile. She's probably looking for me too." "Okay." I replied and nodded. "Hey, what was that?" Shann shouted. "Nothing, why?" I replies "Whatever you're planing with that girl it better...it better" "Better be what?" "Nevermind, I'm out of here." Shaunn walks out and we all laughed.

Shaunn P.O.V

"Why am I like this?" I thought to myself. I walk out of the bar to get some fresh air, to calm myself down. As I walk my heart beats faster. I keep thinking of her. Why? "Ahhhh!" "Oh my god Shuann, are you fine?" I realized I just slipped, how stupid of me but wait who's this? "Are you fine? Hey! Can you hear me?" I shook my head to relieve some pain and I realized it was Julia. "Why are you here?" I shouted and stood up. "Are you following me? Huh?" "Wow there, mister assumes everything. I did not follow. I was just on my way to Austin's car!" "Why!" "Ha, because I left something!" I just stood there quietly with noting to say. "So, if you'll excuse me I'll be going now." "Wait!" I say and grabbed her hand. "I'm sorry." I said to her but she just walked away with not saying anything. "Man what's wrong with you! Ahhhh!" I kept shouting to myself. I couldn't hold it in. I didn't know what was happening to me.

Julia P.O.V

The hell, did he just hold me and even said sorry. I just kept thinking if everything that just happened was really. "Ouch!" I screamed, stepping on a small rock. Since that was painful, I guess this is not a dream after all. "Oh my I'm turning red. Why?" I said while touching my face. Suddenly I felt a tingling sensation on my spine. "Julia, are you okay?" I heard a familiar voice. I hoped it was not Shaunn. I turned around and..."Huh, it's just you." I sighed. "Why, who do you think it would be?" Cole asked. "Shaunn." I replied. "Oh. Why?" "It's nothing" "Oh well then let's go back in, they're looking for you especially Austin." Cole said. "I'll follow, I'll just get something from the car." Cole nodded and walked back in the bar.

Shaunn P.O.V

Austin worried, the hell. I just kept thinking about Julia and Austin. "I'm not jealous, I barely know her." "Jealous?" I looked around just to see her again. "Now you're eavesdropping!" "No, I was just on my way back, and I heard you say jealous." There, again I just stood quietly. "So, are you coming in? Let's go." Julia asked. I just looked at her. "If you're not then I'm going." I watched her walk away and out of the blue I grabbed her. "I'm sorry." I said and hugged her. I don't know what I just did but I was automatic.
