I got out of bed and laid out my casual yet stylish outfit and began packing all my stuff. Clothes check, Accessories check, purses and makeup check. Once I was sure I had packed everything I changed. I wore shorts a gray t-shirt, with a black and white plaid button up shirt left open, my black Steve Maden combat boots and my brown shoulder purse which held my phone, wallet and some lip gloss. I rolled up the sleeves of the button up shirt and put on a bracelet grabbed my suitcase and walked out my room. (Outfit on the side)
“Hey mom are you gonna miss me?” I asked her pulling her into a
hug tears already streaming down her face. “Yes sweetie, I am and so is Megan.” My mom said motioning toward where Meg was sitting on the table trying to fight back tears. I walked over to her and pulled her into a bear hug. “I’ll text you everyday Meg. It’s not that far away and I’ll visit you whenever you want.” I told her in a comforting tone. “I know well you should get going Jessica’s gonna be here any moment to get your suitcases.” She said while wiping away a tear in the corner of her eye. “Your right and stop crying you guys, you’ll make me cry.” I said as I turned on my heel and to my room.
I grabbed my suitcases and took my motorcycle keys and threw them in my purse. As I exited my room I heard the honk of Jess’ car. I said my final goodbyes, surprising myself by holding in the water works. As I exited the house I felt my mom and sister watching me before my departure. Jess popped the trunk open as I approached the car and I began piling my things into her trunk. I walked up to her car window and waited for her to roll it down. “You look cute and casual.” She mentioned before I could even speak. “Thanks and so do you!” I replied. Then there was a moment of silence. “You ready.” I said confidently because I knew I was. “Let’s go, Lindsay said she left already.” With that we were on our way. I hopped into the car which she was driving us to the airport and my mom already sent my motor cycle on it’s way to LA. This is gonna rock I said in my head.
----------Many Hours Later---------
“Thought this day would never come huh?” I asked Jess and Lin as they walked up beside me with what seemed like billions of suitcases in their hands. “No I thought I’d never find you!” Lindsay said before handing me my suitcases and pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back and we went to the front of the school to pick up our schedules and our dorm number. We walked up to the lady there who introduced herself to us and blah blah unimportant stuff. “Your names please?” She questioned us after she figured we could care less about what she was saying. We all exchanged looks and I finally spoke up. “Lexi Evans.” I said as she shuffled through papers looking for my name where my dorm number and schedule were. Once I was out of the way she did the same for Jess and Lin. We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways, well Lindsay did anyway. Me and Jess then got settled and met our new roomates who we are bound to get along with.
