when he got dressed this morning, he unconsciously put his hand in his jeans' back pocket, looking for a note. she always used to slip a note in his pants. and just as he though it was stupid, he found one.
he saw her in the hallway that morning. she was with that other dude from her chemistry class. she told him a month ago they were 'just friends' but he couldn't believe this as he saw her smiling and leaning in to kiss him. her 'friend' put his hands on her waist, just as Luke used to do. he held her the way he used to. he kissed her against the lockers the way he used. and she slipped note in his back pants' pocket the exact same way she used to do with him.
at that moment, he knew it was the end.
it was over.
