Chapter 1

~ Yuu's P.O.V. ~

The blaring of the sirens kept pounding off the walls to make an echo which meant double the pain. S.O.S. or Survivor's of Saul is an underground society that was created from the rich people that not only didn't want to die but to not die without their money.

That's at least my view on this whole situation. The text books they gave us told us another story though. It stated that once the remaining humans, vampires, Four Horsemen of John and whatever the hell else that lies up there would kill each other off and that their would need to be others remaining to repopulate the world once more. Just like in the Bible with Noah and the Ark except with no animals or water.

Speaking of water, it seems somethings off about our government. Everyone's anxious, almost like their awaiting for something, these days, death maybe, but that always awaiting us especially since we're not too far from our coming deaths now. With the earth's core right in our backyard how could we not worry about the possibility of being burnt to a crisp. Right now we're all in the Mantle if we get any more closer to the Outer Core then money would be the least of our worries. Back to the situation with the water. Since S.O.S. being here for 4 years the supply is dropping and fast for some unknown reason. They said the higher ups would tell us on how to fix this situation yet no one has heard a thing.

Your probably wondering how I got here if it's such a secret society. Well, my father works at Hyakuya Central it's a hospital known for their herbs, spices and other natural remedies for cures and diseases. My father being one of the best doctors was recruited and taken by the high ups in hopes to keep the underground society healthy and me being my father's child was learning the trade and was seen as a great necessity for S.O.S.'s future generation.

Now the hard part. In order to be a Naturopathic physician you would of course need herbs and if you still need help understanding what it is that I mean, it's that we would have to go up on the earth's surface every two years and collect all of the plants and other things we would need and get back to the safety of S.O.S. right before the sun goes down.
