Even when it rained, we couldn't be sad. We would swim in the lake or he would pull me up and down main street on his long board. We stayed put late, and snuck kisses when no one was looking until we finally just didn't care. We went down to hobo cave and ran through the rough paths under the old mill, yelling to each other because the rushing water echoed so loud we just gave up speaking and laughed instead. We would play music and I would pull him by his hand and sang and danced down the sidewalks while he just chuckled and said 'god you're beautiful' and when I did something goofy he would laugh and say 'I love you so much' and pull me close and rest his chin on my head. He made me feel beautiful. He made me feel invincible. We acted like we have been together for months and we could tell we were falling in love more and more every day. I let him in and he did the same. He was a skater boy and I was a poet. We had a relationship that our friends said they wished we had.
