I made this on 2 sides of the canvas because it was very small... This painting is supposed to symbolize how to every paradise (the top of the flower) there is always a darker more ugly side (the roots). But without that dark and ugly side, the paradise can't support itself.
This goes the same to every single thing in this universe. A paradise side, a dark side.
