CHAPTER TWO: New Girl

Jamie's POV:

"Beep! Beeeep! beeeeeeeeep!" napatingin ako sa katabi kong kotse na kanina pa busina ng busina sa nasa harapan nya. "ugh! that's why I hate Monday morning! I have to deal with this sh*t once in every week, normally, during Tuesdays to fridays I go out of the house before the clock hits 6:10am. I don't like traffic. I don't like being late, though I have never been late in my whole life guess I'm just keen to the idea of ''do not let anyone wait for you'', I'd rather be the one who waits. Anyway, so every Monday I have to endure this long waiting game of traffic lights and ohh ofcourse, not so calm busy people on the way to school''. sabi ko sa sarili ko habang minamasahe ko ulo ko sa sobrang inis.

"Mam Jamie, Pasensya na ho kayo. Makinig nalang po kayo ng music, alam ko yan magpaparelax sayo" sabi ni sir Robin habang namimili sa usb na nakasalpak sa radio ng kotse.

Tumingin lang ako sa kanya at ngumiti sabay nagmasid nalang ako sa labas habang pinapakinggan ang music na napili ni sir robin. Sya nga pala ang driver ko, yes, I address him as SIR, because I have so much respect for him. He has been my driver for what seems like forever. I have known him ever since I was a kid. He is the only person I trust when it comes to driving me anywhere. Every Monday, he has this thing that he must do with his family, and I actually don't care what he does as long as I don't get to be late in my class that's fine. But that is just every Monday, I actually don't know what to do if this goes on for the rest of the week. Good thing just Mondays. He picks me up after class anyway.

Yes I am the kind of person na bahay at school o mall lang. I don't go to clubs, pubs, bar or whatever drinking place or party goer people who bangs their head up high to loud music go to. I am Lame and I don't give a sh*t. napapailing kong sabi sa sarili ko habang pinipitik pitik ko yung legs ko. nakikita ko na building ng school namin. malapit na.

Sa wakas! nakarating din. kala ko aabutin nako ng pasko sa daan eh. Oa much Jamie! Anyway, Pagdating na pagdating ko sa school, dumiretso ako sa registrar's office to get and check things up then head towards my course building which is Business Management. naglalakad ako sa hallway magisa, lahat ng students binabati ako. Ngiti lang naman tugon ko sakanila. Lockers kasi yun, yung buong hallway ng building naming ay hilera ng mga locker ng students kaya ayoko talaga ng Monday kasi dami ng students sa hallway at nasa gitna yung student committee room, pagpasok ko sa glass door andun nadin yung ibangstudents na may pwesto sa committee.

"Jamie Jamie goodmorning! ofcourse it's Monday kaya tanghali kana halos nakarating dito wag kang magalala di ka pa late'' sabay kindat na sinasabi sakin yan ng secretary kong kulokoy. mabait silang lahat may topak lang. "goodmorning , nakaready na ba yung papers?" sabi ko habang naglalakad papunta sa desk ko. "yes madam! iaapprove nyo nalang po!" naka hand salute pa ang loko. "good" natatawa kong sabi at sabay upo lapag gamit and check the papers na kagad.

it's my turn to welcome a new student this semester, actually I don't do that. coz I'm not fond of talking to people that much but I am really active in school activities so I get to meet a lot of people but really, I don't talk much, I just talk to my close friends. to people I feel comfortable to.

I am the president of the student committee sa course namin and part ng activities namin yung I-welcome lahat ng newbies. though meron kaming orientation before semester starts, there are some students who can't go or actually don't want to. at dahil mabait akong president I still wanna give them a head start about the University, the buildings and all other things to learn about here in our course.

So this new girl that I will welcome, caught my attention last week nung hindi man lang nagpasabi na hindi sya aatend ng orientation. so my student secretary told me about every single person na hindi umatend and this girl just got to my nerves at that moment, learning the fact that she came from our rival university which is Montfort University. we don't get a transfer from that Uni at all. she is the first one.
