Serena didn't plan on making any trips this week. Not any trips to just past Tierrian borders.

But as a knight and a personal friend of the Queen, she had to.

It had started off as a normal day. Nothing exciting had happened over the past year. Serena and Kaiden had become knights of the land for their part in ending Soran's reign. Kaiden had become Rena's right hand.

Tierrians knew that they were in a courtship. To Serena, that meant dating. She and Kaiden were now 17 while Rena was only 116. Pacific had just recently turned 13.

Serena was making her rounds when Howkin came up to her from behind. Serena felt him wrap his arms around her. She laughed as he swung her around. She turned and smiled at him. "Hey weirdo. What's up?"

Howkin laughed. "I still can't get over how funny you talk. It's cute."

Serena laughed. "I think people here talk funny too. I'm still not use to it. I am from another place."

They both laugh. "Queen Rena wishes to see you." Howkin finally said.

Serena nods. "Okay. It probably nothing too huge any ways. I might have to just have to teach the mage kids sword fighting or something." She smiled at him.

They laughed again. Howkin pulled Serena into a hug. "Well I'll see you later then." He planted a kiss on her forehead before leaving.

Serena stood there for a bit, dazed. She blinked then started heading toward the throne room. When she got there, Rena was talking to a citizen about some sort of issue. Serena stood in the back and waited calmly.

Kaiden walked over to her and whispered. "Hey. Haven't seen much of you lately."

Serena shrugged. "Been busy. Being a knight, guarding Tierra, you know."

Kaiden nods. "I know, but you should take a break."

"Is that why Rena summoned me?" She asked him, looking at him.

"No." He answered. "It's about something else. Shouldn't be an issue for you though."

Serena nods and silence sat between them. Finally Serena decided to speak again, "How's Pacific?"

Kaiden was quiet still. Serena waited for a response. She knew their lives took a turn when they decided to stay in Tierra instead of going home. Pacific gotten into magic and the young Tyson was helping her. A lot.

"She's doing fine." Kaiden finally answered, but Serena knew he didn't approve of something.

"Are you okay?" She asked. Serena knew Kaiden her entire life to the point it felt like they were siblings.

But Tierra had done something to them and their relationship. She felt like they are drifted away since Kaiden started spending more time with each other.

"I'm fine Serena." He sighed. Then the person Rena was talking with had left.

Kaiden walked back over to Rena and Serena followed. She stood infront of Rena. "So..." Serena waited for Rena to speak.

Rena had changed a lot the past year Serena had noticed. She had really grown into the queen she was suppose to be. Serena felt weird being around her recently. "Serena, I had asked you to come here for a reason.

"There is a witch just outside our boarders past where the dragons live. She's called the Dragon Lady. I need you to go see what she wants."

Serena raised an eyebrow. "What she wants? I don't understand."

Rena nods. "We received a message from her and...she asked for you."

"What?" Serena blinked in confusion. How could a random witch know who she was when she didn't even live in Tierra? Then Serena remembered that this Dragon Lady was a witch. "When do I have to go?"

Rena swallowed. Serena could tell that the young Queen didn't like what she had to say next. Was this witch dangerous? "Today."

"Today?" Serena repeated. "How the heck am I suppose to get to the border so quickly?"

Rena stood up. "I know this is such short notice. We just the message today. I already had someone prepare a pegasus along with a few other knights to go with you."

Serena nods. "Okay. I guess I have no choice."

"I'm sorry about this Serena. I really am." Rena said.

Serena only nodded before leaving to get ready to leave. She didn't bother with packing, it should only take up the rest of the day. She'd just grab some food.

Howkin came up to her as soon as she left the throne room. "I'm coming with you." He said.

Serena smiled at him. "Thanks Howkin. I'm not looking forward to this trip."

Howkin nodded. "I don't like the idea either."

Serena hugged him and they stood there in each other's arms. Soon Serena had to go to pack some food for the trip. Afterwards she went to see if the pegasi were ready to go.

She walked out to the stables and saw a black pegasus waiting with two other pegasi. Serena walked up to the black pegasus. "Are you guys ready to go?" She asked.

The pegasus snorted. "Yes. You'll be riding with me."

"Oh. Okay..."

"Dakath."

"Dakath." She repeated.

Serena waited for the others to come out so they could leave and get this over with. Dakath snorted and Serena sighed. She saw Howkin come out with a guard.

They quickly got the pegasus ready and set off.

Serena never rode a pegasus before, but Howkin said just to let Dakath do all the work and just hang on. So that's what Serena did.

It took about an hour or so to get to the edge of Tierra. Serena had never been to the part of Tierra before. It was very forested and the dragons where near. They landed and got off. Serena looked around. "I see no witch. Or anyone."

Howkin looked at map. "It's near. I think...that way." He point forward.

Serena sighed. "What would I give for a GPS right now." She muttered before starting walking forward in the direction that Howkin pointed to.

They reached a hut after five minutes. Howkin nodded to Serena. She exhaled and then knocked. "Only the girl may enter." A raspy voice sounded from inside.

Serena looked at Howkin. "That is me..."
