I handed him my laptop, setting it on his lap. He looked at me, confusion furrowing his brows and pouting his lip.
"Put words on this page," I ordered, giving a sly nod.
His words had never ever left me without awe or deeper admiration. Ever since that night on the roof when he handed me his phone and I read an on-the-spot poem, I couldn't get enough.
He looked at the blank word document, watching the cursor blink at him. He typed something I couldn't see and then turned the computer to show me.
I love you, read the little black characters.
"Yeah, that's great and all, but could you get an exposition or and intro down? I'm in the mood for one of your stories," I said, deleting the singular sentence.
"Janey-Quinn, I tell you I love you for the very first time and this is how you respond?" Carter asked, incredulous.
"I love you, you ought to know that," I replied calmly, "but I also love your stories. Please write."
He kissed my forehead and went to work, shaking his head with a grin.
*A/N {Short - a little snippet of stories I write. Hey Princess: A Short - a short from after the ending of the first part of this story, "Hey Princess."} I hope any fans of "Hey Princess" out there enjoy this little thing. It's been about a year, so I thought I would write Jo's story but this came out instead? Either way, I hope I didn't waste your time. Wishing you a wonderful week and Love Always, C.
