Books are like treasures to those people who love reading. People who create their own world from letters, words and paragraphs. People who make believe and people who think and imagine that those characters from the book they read were true.
Spending time on their rooms, covered with blankets and hugging their pillows while imagining that the lead characters from the book they've been reading were true and breathing. Crying when one of the characters that they liked died. Loathing the villains and praying for the death of those antagonists.
Cursing the female protagonist for leaving the male lead and telling her how stupid of a human being she is. Squirming and giggling when the two protagonists share romantic moments. Hating the male protagonist for making his partner cry. Shouting "Oh my God! I just can't! Why on earth?!" when an unexpected scene happens.
They always cry in vain when their OTP's won't end up in each others arms. Calling the author names for being inconsiderate and insensitive. But admiring them for being brilliant and amazing if the protagonists would have their so called happily ever after.
You can never blame them. You may not understand them since you don't feel what they actually feel. Bookworms. Hopeless romantiques. That mixed emotions they feel when they read, it was like a roller coaster ride until they've finish what they're reading. If you're one of them, then you know the feeling of being....fictionzoned.
