         King's Point Of View

" Ayo Ahmad "

"Wassup? " Ahmad said.

"What Tasha been up to? "

"She been running with that nigga Snake " Ahmad said.

I hang up the phone .

Tasha think she slick . See this name Snake got beef with me . It's simple my shit just better than his. Tasha trying pin that fucking Baby on me . Shit it's probably fucking Snake Baby .

My phone rang knocking me out of my thoughts .

"Ayo ! Talk to me"

"Boy don't be answering your phone like that ! Fuck wrong with you ? " my mom said.

"I'm sorry mom I didn't look at the caller ID "

"Anyway boy are you bringing somebody to the BBQ ? " My mom said .

"Yeah Mom you will see when we get there "

"Bye little boy it better not be one of them stink ass hoes you be with " my mom said . 

I laughed and hang up  .

I texted Mya .
"I'm On My Way Now . "

Grabbing my keys from off the Tv stand I was out the door .

Mya's Point Of View

Brushing Promise Hair into two ponytails .

"Ahh mommy you hurting me " promise said.

"Baby what did I tell you? "

"That Beauty Is Pain " promise said.

"What else I said? "

"That I am Ywur Princess and I'm beautiful " promise said .

"Good girl and you don't need no what? "

"I don't need a bwy to make me happy as long as I wove myself " promise said. I kiss her forehead. Guilting Promise to the Mirror .

"Repeat after me"

Promise nodded her head.

" I am Beautiful "

" I am beautiful " promise said

"I love me "

"I Wove me" promise said

See I want my Promise to always know she is special beautiful that she doesn't need a boy or  a men for anything I know she's young but she really smart for her age .

"King! " Promise shouted .

"Hey Baby girl" King said while putting promise up .

"Damn King Mya Don't get no love neither ? " I said.

"Girl gimme kiss " King said laughing .

"Boy I don't know where your lips been " sticks my tongue out.

"Come on stop playing Let's go meet my fam " King said.

Grabbing my phone I followed King out the door.

I looked at Mya I can tell she is nervous. I laughed she doesn't have anything to be nervous about .  I grabbed Promise little hand & grab  Mya's hand .  We headed inside the house .  Promise started to jump up and down getting excited.

"Omg ! King I missed you " My sister Nae  said hugging  me .
 
"I Missed you to big head . Where you ugly ass Baby dad ? " I said.

"The Backyard " Nae said.

"Mya this is my sister Nae . Nae this is Mya and her daughter Promise . " I said

"Hey girl " Nae said hugging Mya laughing .

"what's Funny? "

"Hey Nae Girl ! " Mya said laughing .

"We Been knew each other we work together " Nae said laughing .
