This is a poem about some girls who are being mean to me but I hope that if you are in a similar situation that this poem will inspire you to stand up to them or just know that you are not alone and you are stronger than them.
This is my first poem so let me know what you think.
~~~~~~~~~~
I'm the girl you taunt and tease.
I'm the girl you avoid like a disease.
I'm the girl that weeps while you moan,
I'm the girl sat all alone.
I'm the girl who try her best
To not follow the crowd, I don't fit in with the rest.
But why do you pick on me?
There is no reason that I see.
How do think it feels to be the girl
That's stuck in the abuse, a mass whirl.
The words from your sharp tongue
Everlasting damage like a puncture to my lung.
I'm the girl who tries to be strong
I'm the girl you have been mean to for far too long.
I'm the girl who's emotions turned to stone
I'm the girl who wants you to leave her alone.
I'm the girl who you hurt to make your pathetic lives better
But it's not going to work it's like asking the rain to get wetter.
But why do you pick on me?
I thought we were friends, weren't we?
How do you think it feels to be the girl,
Stuck in her shell like a clam and a pearl.
Stuck in a lonely abyss.
Being the girl you like to diss.
I'm the girl with a heart that's rough.
I'm the girl who's emotions are tough.
I'm the girl who doesn't care what you think
I'm the girl who's spirit you can't sink.
I'm the girl who believes life is too short to be normal
Cause it fun to kick back, to be less formal.
So why do you pick in me?
Just lock up your cruel words and throw away the key.
Say your mean words to me if you dare
But how about you tell someone who will actually care?
