Chapter 13 In The Emergency Room

Luis' P.O.V.

I push a few hairs out of Jessica's face as she lays still on the bed in the Emergency room with a breathing mask over her nose and mouth. Why did this have to happen to her? Why not me instead? I get up and walk over to Elizabeth. I think she's awake. Her eyes are open staring at the ceiling, she's not moving, and she's breathing deeply underneath her breathing mask. When I sit down next to her she closes her eyes. Why Elizabeth!?!?! She's only my cute adorable baby sister! Why does shit have to happen to her!?!?!? Luckis is in here to you no. He's on a bed next to Jessica's with a breathing mask on. The doctors said that they all had a sejour but that Elizabeth's was more severe. I think Jessica and Luckis are asleep, though I'm not sure. I grab Elizabeth's hand and squeeze. She squeezes back and I start to cry. I put my head face down on her bed and my arm that isn't holding Elizabeth's hand over my head and start to cry even more. A hand starts to rub my back and I can hear faint sniffles. I turn around and it's my mom crying silently. I don't let go of Elizabeth's hand.

This shouldn't have happened to my baby sisters... It should have been me...

Jackson's P.O.V.

Samantha fell asleep on my shoulder and that Justin guy is just watching us. I'm giving him the death glare. We are in the waiting room waiting to hear about Jessica, Luckis, and Elizabeth. Tammy is also asleep on Bobs shoulder. I bet they are going to be a couple soon.

A nurse enters the room but goes to a worried looking man and apparently he was given good news because he now has the biggest smile. He quickly jumps up and runs down the corridor of room and enters the second room to the right side. The nurse follows him. He's around 27 years old.

A doctor around the age of about maybe 36 years old walks over to us.

"Are you Jackson." He asks. "Yes." "I'm here with news about Jessica, Luckis, and Elizabeth." "How are they sir!?!??!?!" "It was just a minor sejour except for Elizabeth. She has a major amount of blood loss. But don't worry she has A positive and we have a lot of that specific type of blood here." "Oh thank the gods that it was nothing to serious." I shake Samantha a little and she wakes up. She quickly stands up to face the doctor. "Don't worry miss, all three of them will be fantastic." "Oh thank god."

"We heard the news." Bob says walking towards us with Tammy next to him.

We all start to walk to the emergency room and I pass the second room to the right. I look in and the man is sitting next to a women on the bed about the same age holding a little baby. I smile softly and think of what my mom once told me. 'When there is life of a newborn, there is a death of another one.' well at least my aunt is watching over my baby brother and baby sister for the whole week till Sunday. I mean, it's only Friday. When we finally get to the room Jessica's mom is walking out quietly crying. We walk in to see Luis holding Elizabeth's hand crying into the bed. His head gets up when he hears us walk in. He awkwardly turns around to see us all. "Who's that?" He asks pointing behind us all. We all turn around only to face Justin. "What are you doing here?!?!?!" Samantha barks at him. My girl! "Visiting. What's it look like I'm doing?!?!" "Your such a rapist!" "Says the bitch!" I immediately grab her arms as she is about to punch the dude. I pull her behind me and step forward. "You've got no right to talk to my girl like that in a time like this." "Say it to my face!" "I just did. Your not that smart are you?" "Guess I'm just like you!" Out of know where Tammy goes up to him and punches him square in the face. Justin then falls to the floor. "Oh how I've been dying to do that!" She joyfully cheers. We all laugh including Luis. Jessica sits up and screams once she sees Justin. Luckis then wakes up to the sound of her voice. Elizabeth is still laying there holding Luis' hand. One of the candy stripes girl rushes in. She's looks Luis' age.

"Whats wrong?" She rushes to Jessica and puts a hand on her head. "Lay your head down please." She says and Jessica does just that. She then feels Jessica's throat gently. Luis is watching her carefully. "You don't seem to have a fever." She walks over to Luckis and puts her hand on his head. "Please lay your down." He does. She feels his throat gently. "You don't seem to have a fever either. How is she?" She points to Elizabeth. "I'm not sure if she's awake." Luis says just above a whisper. His eyes are just a little puffy. The girl slowly walks to Elizabeth and feels her forehead and throat.

"Oh I'm sorry. My name is Hanna. Nice to meet you." "I'm Luis. Nice to meet you." They shake hands. "This is Elizabeth." Luis rubs Elizabeth's arm. "I'm Jessica." "And I'm Luckis." "Nice to meet you guys." Hanna smiles. The doctor walks in with a few other nurses.

"It's time to take Elizabeth for her blood work." He says.

"I have to come to." Luis says standing up. "Your not aloud." "Why not?" "Hanna keep him busy while we take Elizabeth."

"Yes sir."

"Not without me." "Luis please." Hanna grabs his arm. "They aren't taking my baby sister away from me! She's only 12!" "Just come with me." Hanna pulls him out of the room Luis non stop arguing. "You can't take me away! Not without my sister! Wait! St..."

AUTHORS NOTE

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've been really busy lately but school finally ended. Now I'm a 9th grader. One of the youngest ones to. I mean I'm only 13. And since I'm taking online math and I'm busy during the summer either way. Here I am babbling on and on. Making excuses. Sorry. Well I'll try to write more soon. Hopefully. :).
