Chapter 3 (part 1): A Walk To Remember

On one Saturday morning.....

Shou's POV

"Hmmmm.... Huh? Oh its morning already...." I said to myself as I stretched. I was thinking of taking a walk with my brown male huskie dog, Ryo for his exercise.

I got out of bed, took a bath, fed my dog, and ate my breakfast while Ryo was roaming around the place because he finished first. By the way, I'm just living alone because my dad is on a business trip and my mom.... Well, don't ask where she is. After all my daily routines, I took Ryo's leash and led him out.

We walked towards the park where I used to play with him and also, this was where Hibiki, Wataru and I met when we were kids. I reached out for Ryo's leash and unlatched it. "Woof! Woof!" Ryo barked as he ran around, playfully wagging its tail.

But something unexpected happened. Ryo ran off from the park! I then ran to catch up to him. And as I ran, he got lost from my sight, so I frantically looked around in case I can spot him. Yet instead, something else caught my eye. "Huh? What is a white huskie doing here?" I asked myself and approached the puppy with caution.

End Shou's POV

Aira's POV

"Wow! What a lovely day to take Rin for a walk!" I exclaimed as I opened my window curtains. I did my daily routines and asked my mom if I can take Rin, my white huskie puppy, out for a walk in the park.

My Mom said, "OK, you can go, Aira. You still have to use a dog leash, though. Rin might run off if you don't." "Hai(yes), Mom!" I then replied with a cheerful smile and went off to get the leash and Rin, who's asleep in my room.

When I was about to get out of the house with Rin in my arms, I suddenly felt that someone's watching me which gave me shivers down my spine. And I know who it is...

"Aira... He called out gloomily as I turned around slowly and he continued Where are you off to try this early in the morning?" "D-dad? I-I was just going to take Rin for a walk at the park..." I replied while shivering nervously. Dad narrowed his eyes saying, "Hmm.. Alright, you can go. But I have a favor to ask of you..."

That's weird. Why is he asking a favor ~ Oh no... I think I already know where this is going... "W-what is it dad?" I asked. He was about to say something when Mom suddenly covered his mouth while saying, "Let her be, Hiro-kun... Mom looked at me Go on, Aira. I'll take care of your overprotective father from here..." "Arigatou, Mom!" I said as I ran off, with Rin still in my arms.
