Spending Time Together

It was about a week into your vacation when you became rather close to the others that were living with you. You got to know about Felix and Ken's girlfriends, how they were doing, and what was going on that they needed woman advice about. Sometimes, it seemed like the two needed more help than you could provide. Jack on the other hand, never seemed to ask the same questions that the two did, or at all of course. You knew that he had a girlfriend in Korea, but you weren't sure if he was having troubles with her or not, or if they simply were just not talking, since he didn't seem to want to talk about her.

You were currently sitting at the table, listening to the sounds of the kettle slowly beginning to heat up and boil the water inside. It was just you, Jack, and Mark within the house, making it rather spacious for all of you to spend a little time doing stuff by yourself before you decided to join in on group activities. You were currently making some tea, as you had been doing for the past couple of days. Since you came from England, and grew up there as well, you enjoyed having a cup of tea everyday, it helped soothe the mind after all.

Footsteps were heard coming towards your direction, making you look up from the table you were staring down at, lost in thought. Seeing that it was Mark, you smiled towards him and heard the squealing of the pot, what most likely attracted him to the kitchen. Walking over quickly you turned the stove off and quickly removed it from the hot eye, placing it onto an unused one.

"How are you this morning (y/n)?" Mark asked, looking you over as you were grabbing a mug and the tea packets you have bought not too long after you had arrived. After adding them to the hot water that you poured into the mug, you looked to him with a small smile.

"I'm pretty good, although there's some things on my mind," You said, looking down at your mug, quietly waiting for him to continue the conversation.

"Oh~ Like what?~" He asked in a teasing tone, looking to you with a smile. You had to admit that he had a cute smile after all, and everything about the Korean screamed 'I'm adorable pay attention to me' just like his counterpart Jack.

"Felix and Ken are always coming to me, asking me what they should do for their girlfriends, or how to get out of situations that really, only a woman could help them with, but I haven't heard anything from Jack about his," You said, trailing off into your thoughts. Mark seemed to smirk at this question.

"So you're wondering about Jacky-poo are you? Well, he and his girlfriend broke up a little while before he came over to America for PAX. He was supposed to actually go over to Korea to see her, but she up and broke up with him the week before we met you," Mark explained, although in a hushed whisper since Jack was prowling through the house somewhere, and could jump out at any moment.

"W-Well, that's terrible... Was there any reason or...?" You asked but then realized how insensitive it seemed. "I-I mean like its not that-"

"She was honestly not that good for him, so it was best, but we shouldn't talk about this right now, considering he's around somewhere," Mark said, looking behind you as he heard the TV in the back switch on. You hoped that Jack didn't hear you, but it was still possible that he didn't, and had just approached the living room moments before.

"O-Okay, well I-" Your phone vibrated within your pocket, cutting you off as you pulled it out. It was Ken calling you. "It's Ken...?" You questioned, looking to Mark with an arched eyebrow. Answering the phone, you heard on the other end Ken's rapid breathing.

"(Y/n)! Hey is Mark there?" He asked, and you looked to Mark with a small roll of your eyes. What was Ken wanting at this moment that involved the two of them?

"Yes, why?" You replied with his answer and the question that was lingering on the question he had asked.

"Well, we need him for some things, top secret," Ken said, not giving you anymore details. You almost wanted to roll your eyes, but refrained from doing so, and then answer Ken, whom was waiting on the other side of the phone.

"Okay, well I'll let you two talk then, here's Mark," You said with a sarcastic smile that Ken couldn't see, but he could at least hear the annoyance in your voice. You were curious and wanted to know what they were doing. You handed the phone over to Mark and grabbed your coffee mug full of tea, heading towards the living room where you indeed found Jack, sitting watching Attack on Titan. It was the subbed version, since the dubbed wasn't put on Netflix quite yet.

"Hm, Attack on Titan?" You asked, which startled him. He had been looking through his phone for a little bit, on twitter more than likely. He was a little startled at the sound of your voice, and quickly hid his phone, which made you raise an eyebrow before sitting down next to him.

"Yeah, it's kind of my favorite anime," He said with a smile towards you. He then resumed reading the subtitles that appeared on the large screen, and you sipped at the tea that was being held in your hands. The both of you sat in silence until Mark walked in, noticing the two of you contently watching the show, as well as, unnoticeable to the both of you, the slight leaning towards each other. The black haired Korean smiled and didn't want to ruin it, so he set your phone on the table in the kitchen and left out the back door, making sure not to make noise. "So (Y/n)... What were you and Mark talking about in the kitchen earlier?" The question linger and flowed from Jack's lips. You felt a little embarrassed, but you didn't want to give him a straight answer.

"I was just talking about a past relationship with him was all," You said, a smooth tone to your voice as you looked to Jack. He had his eyes locked on you, trying to see if you were lying or not. You stayed calm, having practice lying before to many people. You weren't a perfect angel and weren't completely innocent, and had to lie to people sometimes to keep them from getting hurt. But hey, you were doing it for a good cause? Anywho, you were waiting patiently for his reply, but he just looked back to the TV, as the show had ended.

"Oh, why don't you tell me about it?" He then said, scrolling through the options on Netflix. You quickly grabbed the remote from him, which you often did to just him, because it annoyed him. A lot. He looked back towards you, with the same annoyed expression, he went to grab the remote but you held it out of reach.

"I thought you wanted to hear a story? Or does Jacky boy want to watch TV more?" You teased, which made him stop reaching before contemplating his options.

"Do I get cake and cookies if I listen to the story?" He asked, looking at you with a smile. You let out a laugh, letting your guard down just long enough for him to tackle you and grab the remote from your hands. He was off of you as fast as he had been on you, but it still stunned you for a moment.

"N-no, unless you're making them yourself," You said, stuttering slightly at the beginning of your sentence. He looked to you with a cocked eyebrow, wondering why you were acting like that. He could be really dense at times.
