Flinching

The the wrong person at the wrong time walked by.

It was Jonathan. I don't know why he was out here but luck is really on my side today. Oh no I don't know what to do. Right now he was frozen in his steps. Me and Alexis were looking at his back. He turned around and looked at me. He took a few steps forward and stopped right in front of me.

"Who cheated on me?" He said staring into my eyes. It felt like he was looking through my soul.

"I.... um..it....was a different Jonathan."I said not really sounding convincing.

He took a few steps closer. I remembered how my dad did this when he was mad and wanted me to tell him somthing. So I once Jonathan raised his hand I flinched, like really bad. I just raised my hands and pulled my face behind them. I always did this even though it didn't help my dad always got to me. I moved my hands and looked at a very confused Jonathan. His hand was raised and looked like he was just gonna run it through his hair.

"I have to go..." I mumbled.

I tried walking past him but he put his hand on my shoulder. I made a mistake and flinched again.

Why, can't I just not flinch!?

"Tell me right now..." He said in a rather harsh tone.

"I...don't have to. Just leave me alone."I spat back.

I got away from him and ran. I stopped tuning when my vision was getting blurry from the tears. I stopped and went towards my locker. I pulled my phone out and saw that class was almost over.

Huh. Must of not heard the bell when it rang.

I grabbed all my stuff and wiped my face. I sniffed and heard footsteps behind me. I thought they were Alexis but I was really wring. It was Luke.

"Stay away from me Luke!" I yelled at him. I started walking away from him.

"Katie please I'm sorry! I didn't mean for it to happen!"

"Fuck you!" I yelled.

He's never heard me cuss so he knows I was really mad but he kept on going.

"Katie, I wasn't thinking!"

"Oh really you weren't thinking while you were feeling her up!? Having some fun! And with her! It could've been any other girl but it had to be her!" I let tears fall. I walked up to him.

"I knew it was all to good to be true. Someone like you would never want a girl like me..."

I looked him in the eye. His face had guilty written all over it.

"I hate you! Never talk to me ever again! All you want is what you don't have! You want a girl like her because she looks better right? Because she is beautiful and I'm this!" I said moving my hands up and down in my direction.

"Because I'm not good enough for you..."

I turned on my heels and started walking away. Tears coming out face al red from madness and sadness.

"I hate you..." I whispered but knew he heard me.

I went to the girls restroom and washed my face. I sighed a big deep sigh.

I heard footsteps and I spun a round. It was Alexis.

"What do you want?" I said sadly.

"I want to comfort you because I love you." She said coming up next to me.

It hurts knowing she doesn't know the real me. She only knows this me, but that's what I want right? A normal life a simple life...
