"Come on!" Her laughter flooded her voice as she ran around the trees. "Hurry up!"

"Would you slow down?!" His breathing turned heavy as he tried to keep up with her. It was almost impossible.

"No! Come on! We're going to miss it!" Her voice was getting further and further away. She stopped at the cliff. He soon caught up and slowed to a stop beside her. He struggled to catch his breath. She laughed. "And I'm the unfit one?" She smirked playfully before turning toward the water and staring out over the cliff. A pod of dolphins were traveling past. This was what she was running for. This beautiful sight.

"Damn.. That is beautiful.." He smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Isn't it?" She smiled up at him as she leaned back into his body. He smiled down at her.

"Still not as beautiful as you though.." He leaned in for a kiss. She leaned in toward him.

The sound of an alarm woke Carmen up from her beautiful dream. She reached over to her phone and picked it up, turning the alarm off with a heavy sigh. Of course it was a dream. She slowly sat up in bed and stretched out her sleeping arms, yawning heavily. The sunlight flooded her room. The posters of her favorite bands shined from the angle of the light. She carefully pushed back the sheets and shifted her legs over the side of the bed. She yawned again. It was only 9 o'clock am.

"Too early.." She mumbled to herself as she slowly lifted herself up out of bed and walked across the floor to her door. She opened it and looked down the hallway, seeing if anybody else's door was open. Mom and Dad's was. She smiled to herself slightly and ran her fingers through her hair. She walked downstairs quietly, listening to whoever was in the kitchen. Dishes banging together was always a lovely sound to hear this early in the day. She stopped in the doorway of the kitchen. Her father, Ashton, was at the stove, cooking up some breakfast.

"Morning baby girl" He spoke without having to turn around and check who it was. "Sleep well?"

"Meh.." She moved to the fridge and opened the door to find a drink.

"Meh? Vic's coming so you better be rested up" he smirked. She instantly smiled. Vic is her father's best friend. Even better, he is the lead singer in a band called Pierce The Veil. A band Carmen was truly in love with. She knew all the lyrics to every song and could tell you just about anything about the band. She was their walking encyclopedia.

"I know" she giggled softly as she opened the bottle and sipped the water.

"Excited?" He smiled over at his daughter. He knew the answer but loved to hear her excitement.

"Duh" she laughed and leaned against the counter to watch her father cook. "I hope I don't embarrass myself.. Like usual" she mumbled.

"He's a pretty easy going guy, kid. I doubt he'll even notice if you do"

"I hope not. I'm marrying him one day"

"Oh? You think so?" He laughed.

"I know so" she smirked.

"We'll see about that" he placed the food into separate plates. "Go wake your brother and mom up, fan girl"

"Ugh I just came down the stairs!" She whined. When he looked at her, she covered the whine with a laugh and ran to the stairs to escape his stare. "Mom! Cayden! Wake up!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, causing her father to roll her eyes.

"Carmen, really?" He snapped slightly.

"Yup" she grinned as she walked to the dining room. First Cayden came downstairs, his hair a wild mess. He looked rested up though as he sat at the table with a big smile on his face. He too was a big fan of Pierce The Veil, just not as big of a fan as Carmen.
