This is a poem about losing a loved one. I know this topic is very emotional and sensitive, but I just felt like I needed to reach out to those who have experienced such a traumatic loss and comfort and reassure you that things will get better!

Who knew someone so close to you could leave earth so suddenly?
You love them, you treasure the moments, you enjoy every minute you can with them, but you didn't know they were going to leave soon,
You laugh and joke with them, you confide in them, you share great memories together, but you didn't know they were going to leave soon,
Their eyes so captivating, grabbing your attention so effortlessly.
Their laugh is so joyful, making you want to laugh with them.
Their tongue guiding you and teaching you about the rules in life.
Their like-able personality, the type of personality everyone brands as "perfect" but is very rare to find.
Their heart full of purity, piousness, obedience, and you know it can't get any better than this.
Their intentions, as innocent as a little lamb.
But you didn't know they were going to leave soon.
Unexpectedly, they breath their last breath and you're devasted.
You can't believe this.
You only saw them just a few hours ago, and now their gone,
You don't get to cherish any more memories,
You don't get to laugh, and joke, and have fun with them,
That's it, they're gone and they won't return,
But you gotta stay strong,
Cos it DOES get easier,
As much as you don't want to believe it's true, you have to,
What's happened has happened,
You can't do much more than to just accept reality,
And move on,
They will always be in your heart,
Their words guiding you,
Their words living a legacy of its own,
Just count yourself lucky that you had all those fantastic memories!
Only one factor has changed:
Their DEPARTURE
