                                                     Chapter 3: My first full day on the job!

The following day...

It was a sunny Saturday morning and it was round about 12:00 in the afternoon.

"Hm," I looked at the clock in the living room. "I guess I should head for work." I said aloud happily. Just as I was about to walk out of my house door my mum called on me and asked where I was going.

"I'm just going to the new animal rescue centre. You see, mum, I have a job there now." I replied smiling.

"Oh, congrats for getting a job dear. Have a good day at work." My mum shouted to me. I exited my house; my mum waved at me from the door. I waved back and started running because I really really did not want to be late for my first day at work.

At GARC(Geo Animal Rescue Centre)...

"I'm finally here." I said whilst I gasped for breath. As I entered the Animal Rescue someone shouted at me "Fuji! You are late!".

"I...I'm sorry." I replied to the person who shouted, who I now knew was Matari. I smiled nervously.

Matari's P.O.V.

"No, it's okay. It's only your first day on the job." I said. It's that smile again I thought to myself. When she smiles I feel all warm and fussy inside. It's not like me. Not at all I thought to myself. "Anyway. Fuji. I need you to go and look after, Snow Bell and Midnight their both cats that were left to die in the alley way near by. As well as Lucky he's a dog who was threw into a river in a plastic nag and left to drone, but of course they were saved. Anyway they need fed, watered, taking out for a walk and just for some fun you have to play with them with their toys." I ordered Fuji.

She nodded at me and smiled. "Right away boss. I'll get right on it. But where are their chew toys?" she asked me.

"Oh right. You have to buy them, with your own money." I replied.

"What!?" Fuji screamed at me "I have to buy them toys with my own money!" Fuji was obviously shocked.

"Yeah. What did you expect. Now get to it." I ordered her. Fuji sweat dropped; nodded, and walked away to fed and water Snow Bell, Midnight and Lucky.

Fuji's P.O.V.

"Snow Bell, Midnight, Lucky!" I called out. A brown Labrador came ran out of no where.

"Rurf rurf!" It barked and leaped on me. I fell back onto my back.

"So I'm guessing your Lucky." I said and smiled.

"Rurf rurf!" It barked again and licked my face. I laughed and got up.
