Promises

Chapter 4

Rosalin's P.O.V

"Wake up! Wake up!" Rosalin was shaking Zoe rapidly. Zoe wouldn't open her eyes. It was like she was in a trance... A trance that couldn't be escaped... "Wake up!" Rosalin gave one more big push to Zoe's side. Zoe sat up immediately. Her entire body was trembling and a bucket load of tears were pouring out of her eyes. "What's going on? Who's Tori?" Rosalin questioned, desperate to find out. Zoe was gasping for breath, she didn't stop... "Tori? S-She's my s-sister..." explained Zoe. She started to breathe faster... And faster... And faster... "Calm down! Where is she?" asked Rosalin. Zoe hanged her head and started to fidget with her hands again. "I don't know..."

Rosalin gasped and darted to the bedroom window. She inspected the street. Mr Conner wasn't there. "We need to find her, now!" she announced. Zoe glanced up at Rosalin, surprised. "How are we going to find her?" questioned Zoe.

"I don't know... But we have to try!" Rosalin beamed. She was ready for whatever was coming to her but Zoe seemed unsure. She thought long and hard whilst Rosalin was hoping she would accept.

"Then promise!" cried Zoe.

"Promise what?" exclaimed Rosalin.

"Promise that whatever happens... We'll be there for each other!" Zoe announced, standing up from the bed. 

"I promise!"

Zoe's P.O.V

Tori was disappearing and it looked like the dream was ending. Everything was getting darker... "Wake up!" Rose gave one more big push to Zoe's side. She sat up immediately. Her entire body was trembling and a bucket load of tears where pouring out of her eyes. "What's going on? Who's Tori?" Rose questioned, desperate to find out. Zoe was gasping for breath, she didn't stop... "Tori? S-She's my s-sister..." she explained. she started to breathe faster... And faster... And faster... "Calm down! Where is she?" asked Rose. Zoe hanged her head and started to fidget with her hands again. "I don't know..."

Rose gasped and darted to the bedroom window. Zoe gazed at Rose. 'What is she doing?' She thought whilst bringing her stare back to her fingers. "We need to find her, now!" Rose announced. Zoe glanced up at her, surprised. "How are we going to find her?" she questioned.

"I don't know... But we have to try!" Rose beamed. She was ready for whatever was coming to her but Zoe seemed unsure. She thought long and hard whilst Rose was hoping she would accept. 'Can I trust her?'

'Does she even like me?' the thoughts flew in and never came out of her mind. Zoe could only think of one way to be sure...

"Then promise!" she cried.

"Promise what?" exclaimed Rose.

"Promise that whatever happens... We'll be there for each other!" Zoe announced, standing up from the bed.

"I Promise!"
