back ; chanbaek [BOOK 2]

His whole world stops when he sees that familiar face that he has been wanting to see.

"Ye-yeollie.."

Baekhyun whispers his names, feeling all the memories wash down. 

Chanyeol stares at the shorter one in front of him, "What job do you want to apply for?" Chanyeol asks rushing the stranger since he still has to do some work to do. 

Baekhyun still stares at the taller one, he still can't believe that Chanyeol in front of him. When he notices that Chanyeol's brown orbs are glaring at him he brings himself back to reality.

"Uhh.. my friend Kyungsoo said that you're hiring a singer. And I needed a job so I thought maybe this is the perfect job for me." Baekhyun says hoping that Chanyeol accepts him.

Chanyeol doesn't even care since he's rushing right now. "Fine, you're hired. Just return here later today. Around 9 PM. Take care out there." Chanyeol says, not forgetting to let his caring side out even though he doesn't know this short male.

Baekhyun sits on the stool, resting his head on the table while his arms act as a pillow. Kyungsoo is currently up  onthe stage doing his shift. The smell of alcohol lingers around the entire bar. He does know that the bar doesn't have to do anything with strippers or girl entertainers so it makes him relieved.

He twists the cap of the bottle of water that he has ordered from Minseok, he takes a swig sitting up straight now. He looks around the bar noticing that the people in the bar are just drinking and chatting with some friends.

Some people are watching Kyungsoo, especially this tan guy that he spots at the side of the stage that is with another guy.

Baekhyun watches the bronze skinned male admire his best friend up on the stage that the guy beside him has to punch his arm because the tan male is too busy watching Kyungsoo.

Images of the past events pop up in his head, making his heart beat rapidly. He still can't believe he saw Chanyeol with both his eyes, he even forgot to introduce himself. 'Aish, I just embarrassed myself.' He curses at himself in his mind.

He was too busy thinking about earlier he didn't even notice Kyungsoo tapping his shoulder. "Yah, Baek. It's your turn, good luck!" He sees Kyungsoo with the same bronze skinned male beside him. He nods while raising an eyebrow. He'll just ask Kyungsoo about the male tomorrow. "Thanks Soo, I'll see you tomorrow." Baekhyun says, standing up from the bar stool.

He starts to walk towards the stage, walking up the stairs that lead to the stage. He sits on the stool that is positioned on the center of the stage while the microphone is now in front of his lips.

He takes in deep breaths, putting on his smile ignoring the lights that are focused on him.

"Good evening! I'm Byun Baekhyun and I'll be your singer for tonight!"
