-the beginning-
The scarlet liquid dripped from her wrist, it was licked up before staining her white sheets. Tears, tears revealed only a small fraction of what brewed within her tainted heavy heart. She shuttered as yells and the sound of a plate crashed against the wall. A plate can be replaced but a broken home will hardly be repaired.
"it's pointless...nothing matters...let's just end this." She opened the window, the cool Fall breeze chilling her, she licked the thickening clod and stood at the edge of the balcony, the wind ran its fingers through her hair and whispered into her ears. Screams from down below, a whole nine stories down faintly reached her mind, this didn't faze her.
"Rim...what in the world...get down!" Her mother called, fear painted her face a sickly pale.
"Mom..." She broke off and stepped back into her clean room. She fell into her mothers arm and sobbed.
THREE DAYS LATER....
"I don't want to go there." Rim protested in the families beat up green Civic.
"I don't care, you are mentally unstable therefore don't need to be in public." her mom spat
"Then you should've let me jump." her mom fell silent staring out the windsheild watching the golden trees blur by.
"Welcome to Purg Hills." said a woman wearing a nurses dress and blood red lipstick.
"Hi my daughter Rim Carter needs to be checked in." the nurse led the broken girl into a padded cell. For six months she lived in the cell, it slowly mended yet consumed her fragile mind.
"Rim honey, you are coming home." The familiar voice filled her brain. Her mother had a painful smile on her face, Rims blank stare gave her no comfort, two men led her out of the cell.
After another month she was aloud to return to school.
"So freak were did you go?" jeered a popular.
"Hey stupid answer her." Called a jock. The two continued to tease the silent girl. Rim simply stood up in the middle of fourth period, packed her things and with spiteful eyes left the room. She wondered the quiet neighborhood.
"Strike! Ha! Dude that's two! Come on what's up you are suckin'!" the baseball feild, a run down, rusting fenced in clay pen in which was the only source of entertainment in this unsubstantial town. She found herself near the defiled basketball court. A song came on her iPod, its deep meaningful lyrics, hypnotic beats ran through her, her body started to move, at first very rigid and uncoordinated but as she allowed the calming beat to devour all her petty worries, her true being resurrected.
She turned, sailed through the air then firmly landed and broke into countless fouettés. She danced until her legs gave way, tears glimmer in the moonlight as she gave one last turn before falling to the gritty concrete.
The next day was dreded upon for she was condemned to deal with the constant hell she experienced at school.
"Hey emo girl! We saw you dancing at the basketball court. What do you think you are a performed?"
"Her a dancer? Please! She's nothing more than trash on the side of the road!" her expression blank but inside she was screaming.
"I've had it! Leave me alone! Why are you treating me like this? Just-just mind your own frickin business! What have I done to you?" she screamed these words aloud but the two villains laughed and seemed completely oblivious of her outcry. Her head slammed into the desk, rage filled with in her, she grabbed her bag and bolted for her freedom. This repetitive cycle ran for another four weeks. Rim made her way to her dancing spot, eager to blare her music and let her troubles fly away. Half way through her lyrical dance she felt something, a feeling of being watched, not judged more of a warm curious gaze yearning to speak to the little dancer.
