"No No No", The fairy Cherry yelled "I don't want to get married to him, mother!"
"I don't care he has lot's of rose seeds (their currency) and we need it" Cherry's mother said plainly.
Cherry hated her mom, she felt like Cinderella cooking, cleaning and doing everything for her mother, and what did she get in return, nothing. Cherry was planning to run away with her one true love, Firo. Firo is a stable boy for the Pegasus, fairies have the power to tame all animals, no matter there size. Cherry loved him oh so much, she could not bear being engaged to another man, especially Gloom Gnash, ironic huh, oh boy is he a gloomy person.
"Well then I'm running away!" and before she knew it she was out the door, running for Firo
"NO!" she could hear her mother scream, but she was already yards away.
Where am I going? Firo has a family to support if we run away now , we won't be prepared at all! Will Firo still want to run away? Cherry turned these questions over and over in her head as she ran to Firo's house. Knock,knock,knock she rapped her fingers on the door. It was very early in the morning so no one answered the door. She knocked again this time she could here a baby crying and Firo coming to the door.
"Firo we have to leave now!" she screamed out of breath.
"Cherry why? I am not ready we need more food" Firo replied, obviously half awake.
"I got in a fight with my mom and shes hot on my trail we have to leave" Firos sister waited on her bed anxious to know what was happening.
"Cherry, you know I can't I have a family to feed and my weeks worth of dandelion seeds is coming in tomorrow" replied Firo. Cherry's expression changed she was very sad.
"Firo please gather your family there will be plenty of food in the woods, we will make our way to another town please!"
" You know I love you Cherry but I can't, why can't you just wait until tomorrow? You can hide in the forest until then" The door started to shut
"Until then Cherry, bye"
Cherry started to sob, she could here her mothers hounds barking loudly I have to go with or without Firo.
