Highlight Of My Day

I was walking down the street and seen a help wanted sign in the window. I walked in and asked for the hiring manager. I sat down falling into my own little world while gazing out the window. I was deep in thought about my parents like how life would be if they were here helping me at times like this. I was too busy in my thoughts that i didn't notice a coke figure women with a nice face,long hair, and really pretty eyes walking my way.She came and sat down in front of me and smiled.

My name is Ms.Glims but you can call me Kameron Or Kam for short.What's yours cutie? Ohh Uh. My Name is Za'Cori Morris, Cori for short. Ughh......I seen the help wanted sign inside the window. I wanted to know if that spot is still available if so I would love it. I promise I wont mess up or be late nothing in that sort just please mama.Wait I'm sorry I don't want to feel like I'm begging you. I started to tear up. It's just that I really need this job.I'm in a terrible situation at this point this is my only hope. She handed me a napkin and said yes honey I see you really need this job.Go home an get cleaned up you can start tomorrow. Hold on right here i'll be back. I waited 10 minutes before she returned and handed me my uniform & work schedule. I got up and thanked her so much. Then walked back out the place and walked around the unfamiliar streets.I have to make sure i know were I'm going when i leave for work tomorrow. I was so happy it was the happiest I've ever been in my life.The area wasn't as bad as i expect it to be.There was a park about a block or two away from were i was standing.
I had seen a park across the street so I decided to sit there to get my mind straight and think about somethings. Where are my real parents, how did i get here. I just sat back thought about how my life will never change. I've been sitting here for awhile so I got up and went back to the old abandoned place. As I was walking down the street Ms.Glims or Kam stopped me.
Where you headed to she said?
Oh Uhm I was just walking home I answered. Do you need a ride sweetheart, it is dark out and anything could happen. Ugh y-yeaa sure I said while climbing in her truck. Soooooo where are we going cutie she said.
Uhm turn right here and stop at the corner please I said.
She came to the corner and stopped, I thanked her and walked back to the abandoned place.

Kam POV:

I pulled my truck over and watched Za'Cori walk into the old abandoned hotel. OMG I can't believe she lives here. I said to myself tearing up a little. I need to help her.I hate seeing people like this well I hate seeing her like this.I know I barely know her but I have a little crush on her.I'll just have to ask her about this tomorrow. Ughh I can't just leave her.I said to myself getting really frustrated. After I debated on if i should go in and get her or doing it tomorrow . I finally decided on something and I hoped out my truck locking the doors and heading in the building to get her.
Heelllooo?? Za'Cori, Za'Cori are you in here.I said out loud.This place is not half bad as it may seem it looks decent. I keep walking trying to figure out were she could have gone to but i tripped over something or somebody.
Ohh Sorry I said as I almost fell on her. Ohh come with me.She didn't say anything but I got her bags and told her i have a guest bedroom. She didn't resist she gathered the rest of her belonging and we walked out heading for my car.
