"Are we here?" I ask looking out the window. Instead of being on the highway, for the first time we are actually on a street. She smiles and nods her head.

A few minutes go by and we turn into a driveway. I get out of the car and look at the house infront of me. The building is set high off the ground by wood planks that crisscross eachother.

I can feel the breeze from the ocean on my skin. The house looks exactly the same as it did the last time I was here. White siding, and dark brown shingles on the roof. The only thing that makes the house stand out is it's bright red colored door and landscaping. Gram has always been into gardening and her property proves it.

I grab some of my bags, and wait for Gram to unlock the door. The inside of her house has the more beachy flow then the outside. The brighter, yet calm colors are reasuring, especially coming from my house. Mom is too classy for colors, atleast that's what she thinks.

I take my luggage and carry them up a flight of stairs into the guest room where I always stay. The emerald green walls and white furniture pull the rooms attention to the balcony.

I open the sliding doors and take a step outside. Even though the humidity level is extremely high, the breeze from the ocean makes it seem cooler. The waves crashing into the sand brought a piece of serenity to me.

A couple of kids are playing in the sand trying to build a sandcastle, and some teenagers are rolling in the water. Every wave that goes by, they go crashing down, taking a couple seconds to get their heads up.

'I wonder if I could drown myself?'

That would be a good way, too. Less bloody then what I was thinking originally. Plus, it wouldn't seem like a suicide, just a riptide. I went back into the room, and slid the door shut. I grabbed my suitcase, flopped it onto the bed, and started unpacking.

I grabbed all the pictures I had of Molly, and place them around the room. The ones without a frame, I tape to my wall. My nightstand has one picture of us together at the zoo. Her favorite part about that trip was the fish. She was inlove with the sea horses, and even got a stuffed animal of one when we were leaving.

I put the other pictures on my dresser and vanity set. I take out all my makeup and hair products and place them where they belong.

I don't plan on staying here for long. Maybe a few weeks or so. I need to make it seem like I am living here though, kind of put on a show. Hell, once I am gone, two weeks later and Gram will all ready forget about me.

Stupid Alzheimer's, well actually I don't even know if she has it, but I know she forgot how to drive. Even a blind mad can drive better. Must be Alzheimers.

"Danielle come down here, I want you to meet someone."

I really don't feel like seeing anyone right now. Sleep is the only thing I need. Reluctantly, I get off my bed, and walk downstairs to find Gram. She is sitting in the living room talking to an old man.

'Does she have a boyfriend?'

Once she notices my presence, she quickly stands up and grabs my arm. She drags me over to the guy.

"Nice to meet you Dani, I am Ron." He reaches out his hand for me to shake, but I just stare at it.

"Danielle. "

He glances at Gramma then back at me. "My apologies, Danielle. Your Gram has told me a lot about you. Don't worry, only good." He says with a slight chuckle. Oh, was that a joke.

"Yep."

The awkwardness in that room was rather large. Seems like no matter where I am at, I make everything awkward. Such a privilege.
