*Reader's Point Of View*

I'm running as fast as I can. I have to get back to the guild...I didn't tell them I was leaving, or more importantly, I didn't tell him I was leaving...

My legs are burning, but I don't care. I can see the Fairy Tail Guild in the distance and I sprint even faster. My vision starts getting black and I start to slow down. The guild doors are right in front of me...I've made it...

It takes a lot of effort to push the big wooden doors open and enter into the guild. I feel everyone's eyes on me, but I'm searching for one pair of eyes. My legs start to wobble and as I fall to the ground, I see him. He pushes his way through the crowd and I barely hear him scream my name...

He's okay...He's alive...

Natsu is okay...

1 day later

I can feel heat on my hands. It's a warm feeling, one that I haven't felt in a while. Then, I realize, that it isn't the sun. I can hear someone's voice, and I feel their skin on my hands. I immediately know who it is. I can never forget his soft, yet firm hands and the soothing sound of his voice.

"Please...Be okay... I don't know what I'll do without you... I just...I wish I knew where you've been...where you've been for the past 2 years..." I can hear Natsu's voice shake as he speaks softly. "Please, don't leave again. I don't think I could handle you being gone." I can feel his tears on my hands. I open my eyes and give him a smile. 

"Don't worry Natsu. I'm okay." His eyes widen as speak and he hugs me tightly.

"(y/n)...where have you been...?" his voice is shaking, but not as much as his entire body. I run my fingers through his pink hair and say, 

I'll explain all that later."

 "(y/n), just do me one thing?" Natsu whispers while he puts his head on my lap.

 "Anything."

"Never leave my side again... Promise me that..."

"I promise...I won't leave again"

*Natsu's Point Of View*

I sit with Lucy, Erza and Gray and we're talking about our last job. Gray, as usual, is trying to one-up me but he can't hold a candle to me.

"I'm positive that I kicked the most butt on that last job request! I froze 12 of those bastards!" Gray said.

"Sheesh. Only 12? I scorched 16 of them! Looks like you're getting weaker, ice boy." I answer with a smirk

"Oh yeah? Remember how just yesterday, Erza defeated you...again? You're pathetic, Fire-for-brains," he says. I give Gray a glare, and he returns one.

"Thats enough you two!" Those four words came from Erza, and they're enough to make me and Gray shut up. Then, all of a sudden, I picked up a scent. 

"No way...It couldn't be..." I recognized the scent right away. It was coming from the guild's entrance. The guild's main entrance doors swung open. She stood in front of Fairy Tail, pale as a ghost. Without even thinking, I got up and started making my way towards her. She started falling, so I dashed towards her. She looked at me and whispered my name.

 "Natsu..." 

I panicked and yelled her name. Her body slammed into the ground just before I made it to her. I felt tears in my eyes, but didn't bother to wipe them away. She way colder than I remembered. I picked her up in my arms and turned to Wendy. 

"Wendy! Please help!" She was shocked to see (y/n) too. 

"(y/n)-san... I'll do my best Natsu-san!" I brought her to the infirmary and put her in bed. Wendy used her healing magic and then left. "I'll leave the two of you alone," she said before leaving.

I grabbed (y/n)'s hands and they were cold, so I used Fire Dragon Iron Fist, but toned it down enough to only make my hands warm so that it could warm hers. "What happened to you? Why were you gone all this time? I...I wish I could tell you how I feel...We missed you...I missed you..." and with that, I fell asleep next to her.
