I was trying to do my warm up on the ice, trying to enjoy myself.
The whole rink was mine, and my coach was also mine for a whole hour.
This is how I planned to continue my figure skating.
Alone. With only the ice and coach to guide me.
Every week it was almost silent, only the scratching of my skates and the soft piano music in the background.
The silence, however, didn't last for long.
The door opened suddenly and a bunch of hockey skaters, in full gear came running inThey grabbed their nets and puck and hurried onto the ice, scuffing the ice and ruining it by stopping every 5 seconds...
I would've normally been angry, but not today, I felt my cheeks go a shade of Crimson when I recognised one of the boys, a guy in my form class. The name was Angus, and I groaned loudly when I remembered that this was the boy who asked me out a couple of weeks ago...
'He is a hockey skater?' I wondered out loud
'The Captain too' said my coach
A wave of butterflies shot up my stomach, I rejected the captain of this hockey team, what a fool.
'I'm thirsty, I'm getting some water' I mumbledI left the ice and gulped my water. 'Omg why did i reject him, we have the same interest and he is GOOD at this interest, better than me' I said dryly.
'Because you didn't quite know him yet' said a voice from behind.
I gasped and dropped my bottle of water, spilling it all over my skates and ground.
I turned and scowled at the figure behind me, of course, it was Angus.'Omg Angus, if you want to give me a fright, do it on Halloween, not in the middle of my water break' I mumbled
He just laughed. 'Sorry about that sunshine, here, have mine' he handed me his water and I handed it back like he had cooties.
'No thank you' I said, I rolled my eyes and turned around, then began walking to the ice.Someone grabbed my hand and put a crumpled up note in it.
I quickly popped it in my pocket and assumed it was just Angus's number.
