I have been avoiding his gaze throughout dinner and honestly all I want to do is jump over the table and hug him. He's been kicking my legs under the table and I've been ignoring that also.
"Pardon me but could Jess and I please be excused from the table?" Niall politely asked. Oh how I've been missing his voice. "No problem Niall. Don't be to long because we will be having dessert soon" My mother replied. Why did you have to do this to me mom.
Once we went out to the garden there was an awkward silence. If he thinks I'm starting this conversation he's got another thing coming.
"So how've you been Jessie ?" Niall broke the silence. "That's all you have to say for yourself? How've you been? Well Niall I've been shit , that's how I've been. And yourself Mr I'm so famous now?" I fired back. He looked up from the ground shocked at my new found attitude "Look Jess I know I never called or texted you but I thought you moved on from out friendship. So the best idea I came up with was to also move on." He stated. "Niall did you not get my messages ? Calls ? Tweets ? How could you believe I moved on ?" "Look Jessie I thought it was for the best but I guess it wasn't" he answered. "But I'm back now and we can make up for all those lost years because I'm home for the whole summer." He winked. He makes me weak at the knees but he does not need to know that.
"Oh no you don't. You think I will forgive you at the click of a finger? I think not Horan."I stated. "If you believe that you have another thing coming for you" I smirked . Just as he was going to say something my mom called us for dessert.
