I couldn't believe it. My heart was racing. This had to be some sort of nightmare. My head was spinning around as if I was on a broken playground spinner. My vision was hazy as I felt a tightening feeling in my chest as I struggled to get up. I stumbled my way towards the village close by. For once, I didn't have a plan. I had no where to go. Nothing to do. My home had been destroyed as it is, a few towns away. I didn't have money to take a bus or buy some food and water.
For a while I thought I was going to die. Wither away into nothing. Only for a few seconds did I think about going back and pleading my way back into the mansion. I'd just look weak to them I knew it would never work. I tried to quietly sing to myself which always seemed to relax me. But my voice was so raspy I only coughed up words. I sighed and trudged my tired legs down the empty sidewalk. It was like a ghost town.
Nobody was in sight and the sky was a hazy grey color. I slowly looked up at the dark sky and frowned. I squinted to fix my vision as I looked back down and put my hand on my head.
Everything I've ever known. My brothers, my friends, my allies... All gone. Betraying me. I knew they didn't stand up for me since I know they would've gotten me back in the mansion by now. But. I was alone again. Just me and the quietly whistling wind rushing by. Leaves blowing off trees onto the wet ground. My feet making puddles slosh around, making my goosebumps covered legs have cold water splashed on, slowly dripping down my pale leg. I didn't feel much. Just... Empty...
