Asher, during her youth, was a free spirit. She was bold, openly charismatic and had a positive (sharp) tongue. Of course, she doesn't quite recall the split of her parents so it had little affect on her. However, around the age of six, her father remarried. What sweet, chipper, disposition Asher had slowly began to ebb away over the years her father was married to Angie. Her eating disorder (anorexia) didn't develop until two years in her father's marriage when Angie would deprive her of proper meal portions, complaining she was too overweight and telling her to exercise- all the while spoiling her own daughter.

Her anxiety and borderline schizophrenia didn't develop until her father had been married to Angie for four years. Angie would firmly make Asher believe everything she saw or heard was in her head. Angie would tell Asher she wasn't pretty, that she wasn't liked, that she constantly needed to apologize for every little thing- all behind her father's back. She has low self-esteem due to Angie's verbal, and emotional abuse and her father's relative absence due to work. It wasn't until her father's final year of marriage with Angie that ever laid hands on Asher, etching burns marks into her skin with cigarette.

During this last year, Asher became addicting to self harm and weed abuse. She also became reclusive and almost completely mute. Asher is moreover reclusive and sassy. She is rebellious and witty. She dares to dream and achieve her goals.
