I woke up in a field. It was dark and I could hear voices murmuring. I slowly sat up and brushed my hair out of my eyes. There were people standing all around me. They looked poor and hungry.
"Where am I?"My voice was raspy. A woman wearing pants sat down in front of me.
" Angels Mark.We're a small farming village. We saw you fall from the sky."She took a canteen from her belt and handed it to me.I studied her as I drank. She had pitch black hair and her face was covered in dust.
"Thank you. "I gave it back and got up. Many of the villagers whispered when they saw how tall I was.
"Are you a soldier? "Asked the woman.
"I guess. "She stepped forward and opened my robe, revealing my chest.
"He's a Demon Bred. "I felt Orochi trying to contact me but I ignored him. What if he hurt all these people. The crowed was silent as she looked me over."You can stay with us for three weeks. "I nodded.
"You're to kind. "She began to walk and her people followed.I walked beside of her.
"I'm guessing you don't want to be a Queen's dog?"
"Yeah. "
"She's a bitch.Spoiled rotten. "I grunted."You planning on runnin'?"
"I-I don't know..."There was nothing much I could do. I sold my home. Maybe I could stay at Orochi's temple.
"You'll figure it out."

Once we arrived at the village they made sure I was at home. They gave me a cot and a piss pot in a elderly woman's home. They said I was welcome anywhere in the village and all expenses will be covered.I sat there on the cot for a while.Why are they helping me?I could feel Orochi tugging at my thoughts,but I tried to ignore him.I felt him lay me down and close my eyes.

You need some rest.

His temper flared and in result mine did to.I put my head in my hands.As soon as I did the elderly woman walked in and set something on the floor beside of me.

"Some food."She took a deep breath."Are you okay?"

"Yeah."I murmured.She chuckled.I opened my eyes and took my hands from my face.She gasped and rushed over to me,looking into my eyes.Her breath hitched in her throat and her started to cloud over."Hey!"I quickly sat up and caught her when she began to tip over."A-are you okay?"She did answer.

Orochi!

What did you do?

She looked deeply into your eyes.That can knock people out.You need to be careful with that ability.

I laid her down on the cot and paced the room.

What do I do?

Give her a minute.

I looked at my plate of food.Mashed potatoes with gravy and pitcher of beer to the side.I didn't have much of a appetite.

What do I do if they find her?

They won't,it's late at night.Be patient.

I sat down beside of the cot and toyed with my food.Several minutes passed while I was lost in my thoughts.

"Excuse me."The woman was awake.I looked over at her and she had a small smile on her face."Let me help you."

What?

She slowly got up and went to a separate room.She came back with a large book and sat down on the floor next to me.She flipped through the pages until she came to a specific one with a list of demon names."What is your demon's name?"

"Orochi."

She gave me a shocked look but found the name and turned to its page.

"I thought you were killed long ago.."She murmured. Orochi took over my body and I had no chance to try to fight him.

"Temporarily."I couldn't control my body so all I could do was watch and listen.The woman chuckled.

"I didn't know you were still so powerful,even with that cross on your chest."I chuckled and my body relaxed."I'm a Demonologist,that's why you're staying with me."She took a breath."Now listen closely,Orochi."I grinned.

"I will."
