'I remember when we were little. When all we cared about was each other, the sunshine, and happiness. How we would never cry, even when it hurt so much when we fell down the stairs.'
She paused and looked at me. "Kanny are you listening?!"
I nodded my head and looked at her. "I'm sorry Melissa, I wasn't focused. Please, do go on."
'What happened to you? We used to be the best of friends. Now, you only bother to speak to me when you're needing to rant.. It hurts to know that you don't care for me anymore..'
"Right.. As I was saying..", She twirled the end of her blond hair around her slender finger, "Arenah has been so clingy lately. She's always up my fucking butt, talking about 'Oh Meli I miss you soooo much!' And I'm like, 'I just saw you yesterday, god.' But of course I'll never tell her." She finished her rant with a sigh.
"Why don't you tell Arenah? You are supposed to be together, and all you do is say very hurtful things about her behind her back-" I was cut off before I could say any more.
"Who asked you to but in? What sh doesn't hear can't hurt her, idiot!" She yelled at me furiously, standing from her chair and walking over to me. "You've got such a big mouth and you never shut up!!"
I looked at her as my eyebrows knit together, my face becoming slightly red. "I only asked a simple question Melissa. And it is very unnecessary for you to get so close to me. You know of my personal space." I replied, throwing her anger off to the side as if it never occurred. She then slapped me in the face, anger boiling in her face. "I DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT YOUR 'PERSONAL SPACE'!!! WHY CAN'T YOU BE COOL LIKE ME, OR JAKE? YOU'RE JUST AN ANNOYING NERD WHO CAN NEVER LET LOOSE AND BE LIKE THE POPULAR KIDS. YOU DESERVE TO DIE KANSAS!" She screamed at me, her face turning a deep red.
Tears began to stream down my face as I pulled my grey beanie downwards. "As you wish, you're majesty." I replied. I stood up and walked around my chair, being sure not to make eye contact with her. Walking away from the park I was just at, I could see Melissa's face still red and anger plastered on her face. "Fine then! Go! I don't need you Kansas! I've never cared about you anyway!" I herd her say. I stopped for a brief moment before running to my house as quickly as I could.'What happened to when it was fun Melissa?'
